Paul W. Vanderwerken is a practicing lawyer in the state of Nevada handling Car Accident cases.

Frederick C. Thomas (“Fred”) has lived in Arizona for nearly thirty consecutive years, except for six years living in California. Fred went to Deer Valley High School in Glendale, Arizona. He graduated from Arizona State University where he obtained a degree in political science. During college, Fred interned with former US Senator Jon Kyl. After graduating college, he worked for American Family Insurance for three years. Realizing that life as an insurance adjuster was not for him, Fred attended the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. Fred is licensed in Arizona, California, and Colorado. Fred is also licensed in each California Federal District Court, the Arizona Federal District Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Fred has been practicing law since December 2003. Fred has practiced personal injury law since first becoming a lawyer. He has also represented individuals in habeas corpus matters ensuring that every individual received the Constitutional protections we all deserve. Fred’s knowledge and experience as a former insurance adjuster gives him an invaluable asset to his injury clients, he knows how the adjuster thinks, so he can be one step ahead of them. Fred also represents licensed contractors in various scenarios, whether defending their rights before the Registrar of Contractors or enforcing a mechanic’s lien and assisting in collecting unpaid contracts. Currently, Fred is a member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, a former President of the North Phoenix Bar Association, and a member of BNI Arizona, and was on the State Bar of Arizona’s Ethics Committee. Additionally, Fred was an adjunct professor, he taught Insurance Law, Remedies and Commercial Law. Fred spends his downtime mountain biking, playing golf, snowboarding, and hockey, and is a Sun Devil football season ticket holder, baseball, basketball, and hockey.

Peter J. Pietrandrea obtained a B.A. in Political Science from Allegheny College in 1980 and a Juris Doctor degree from Ohio Northern University in 1984. Since 1984, his practice has concentrated in personal injury and wrongful death. Since 1989, his practice has been located in Cranberry Township where is has successfully represented thousands of clients. He has served on a number of charitable and civic boards and has remained an active member of the community.

Andrew F. Ruder earned a B.S. degree from Towson University in 2007 and went on to receive his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in Camden in May of 2012. While in law school, Andrew was a member of the Rutgers Law Journal. His comment, “The Use of Risk Assessment Tools in Formulating Individualized Sentencing Programs,” will be published in the next volume. Additionally, Andrew participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistant Project. In the summer of 2010, Andrew interned with the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and also with the Honorable Shelley Robins New in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Andrew served as a law clerk for a small firm in New Jersey as well as for a mediation company under Judge James D. Clyne. He joined Pond Lehocky in September 2012 to practice in the area of Workers’ Compensation. Andrew is admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Tech2Educate, a non-profit that raises money to provide new technology to charter schools in the Philadelphia area. Most recently, he co-authored an article with Samuel H. Pond entitled “AMA’s Approach to Impairment Rating Evaluations is Unconstitutional” published in The Legal Intelligencer. Andrew was also featured as a contributing writer in the Spring 2013 edition of New Jersey Chiropractor, a quarterly publication distributed by the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors.

After graduating law school in 2004, Digger returned home to rural Louisiana and went straight to work, trying his first case the week after being sworn in as a lawyer. Since then, Digger has spent his entire career representing individuals and entities in civil litigation and successfully representing clients in complex personal injury cases. “I always wanted to be in a position to help people, and I love the role being a lawyer allows to me to play,” he says. “I’ve always hated bullies and enjoy helping people combat bullies and large corporations.

A native of New Orleans, Evan Breaux is the son of Darryl Breaux. Since his youth, Evan has known that he wanted to be an attorney like his father, Darryl, and his maternal grandfather, the late Clifford P. de Laup, Jr. While earning his Business Management degree at the University of New Orleans, Mr. Breaux worked part-time for his father, thus beginning his experience in the field of personal injury law. Mr. Breaux then worked as a law clerk for a Baton Rouge mixed litigation firm with a concentration in personal injury during his law school years. Soon after obtaining his Louisiana Bar license, Evan began working as an Associate Attorney at a well-known, large personal injury firm in New Orleans. Evan gained valuable experience at that law firm, and in January of 2017, he joined the law office of Darryl Breaux & Associates, creating one of New Orleans’ only father-son personal injury law firms. Like his father, Evan is accessible; he believes the firm’s family atmosphere and dedication to personal attention is what sets DB&A apart from other firms. Guided by his father’s strong work ethic and a philosophy of respect for all persons, Evan is committed to getting the very best results for his clients.

Mike’s Practice focuses on personal injury, auto accidents, and products liability; while he also has experience in estate matters and family law. In addition to his civil law practice, Mike serves as an Assistant District Attorney of the 3rd Judicial District in Lincoln Parish where he is a misdemeanor and juvenile prosecutor.

Brooke Eaves Wright was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and served as Miss Myrtle Beach 2008, 2010, and 2012. Brooke graduated from Clemson University, where she received a B.S. in Marketing and a Minor in Legal Studies in 2011. Thereafter, Brooke received her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2014. During law school, Brooke was a member of the Moot Court Bar and was one of eight students named to the Order of the Barristers in 2012. Brooke competed on the National Competition Team and was one of three Moot Court Bar members selected to represent the USC School of Law in the National Moot Court Competition sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers. Brooke was a Top Four Finalist in the Kate Bockman Memorial 2L Moot Court Competition, in which she argued at the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Brooke served as the Associate Justice of Public Relations & Alumni for the Moot Court Bar. Brooke was an Editorial Staff Member of the Journal of Law & Education and received the Best Spader Award for the January 2012 and July 2013 issues of the Journal. As a Myrtle Beach native, Brooke has always been actively involved in the Myrtle Beach community. Brooke established the Backpack Buddies program in 14 Horry County Schools to provide meals for over 2,100 food insecure children on the weekends. Brooke was recognized with the Presidential Service Award and the Nancy Moore Thurmond Community Service Scholarship for her efforts with the Backpack Buddies program. In addition, Brooke received the Sun News Community Leadership Scholarship for her dedication to community service in the Myrtle Beach community. Brooke is very passionate about community service and she is dedicated to seeking justice for injured individuals and their families.

David M. Estes concentrates his practice in class action, product liability, and personal injury litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Estes served as a law clerk to the Honorable Victor Ashrafi of the New Jersey Appellate Division. He also served as a summer clerk to the Honorable Jerome Simandle of the U.S. District Court of New Jersey, and judicial intern to the Honorable Theodore McKee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Estes is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.

JUAN L. ICAZA, was born in Cuba in 1965. He and his family came to America in 1971 and resided in New York City. He graduated from Seton Hall University and Seton Hall Law School. Mr. Icaza then joined the Newark firm of Bross, Strickland, Cary & Grossman as an associate and rose to become its managing partner at the age of 29. He and Robert R. Cary formed the firm of Cary & Icaza in 1996 and in 2009 renamed the firm to Icaza & Burgess maintaining a relationship with Robert Cary as office counsel. Mr. Icaza has been practicing law since 1990 specializing in personal injury cases involving medical malpractice, lead and toxic torts, automobile accidents and products liability. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey , Federal District Court of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Icaza is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, Essex County Bar Association and The Association of Trial lawyers of America. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
