James Stapler has been licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas since 1999. He has successfully represented hundreds of clients in Family and Criminal Courts throughout Texas. James is admitted to practice in all State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, including Fort Hood. He has won jury trials in Bell, Coryell & Lampasas Counties. Most of his practice is made up of Family and Criminal Law, including divorce, custody, child support, CPS, as well as all misdemeanors and felonies. James also handles probate, guardianship, and personal injury cases. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Escover served in the United States Marine Corps for ten years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician. While fulfilling his military duties, John earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Park University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In December 2000, John graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law, where he was a Law Review Write-On Invitee as well as a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity. After law school, John began his legal career as a prosecutor in Williamson County’s Attorney’s Office where he was responsible for prosecution of all classes and phases of misdemeanor litigation including jury and bench trials, plea negotiations, probation revocations, and appeals. In 2003, John transitioned to civil litigation becoming an associate at Watson, Rossick PC, a firm specializing in toxic tort and products liability defense. John later served as an enforcement attorney for the Texas Lottery Commission representing the Commission during enforcement hearings at the State Office of Administrative Hearings. He also investigated, prosecuted and negotiated the largest fine at that time ever assessed against a bingo game manufacturer in the State of Texas. In 2006, John honed his trial experience in Austin concentrating his practice in medical malpractice, labor and employment, products liability, and personal injury actions securing millions in settlements and judgments on behalf of his clients. In 2011 the most destructive wildfire in Texas history decimated 1500 homes and business in Bastrop County, Texas. John and Bill Rossick filed suit on behalf of over 60 families and business owners against the electric company servicing Bastrop County and its vegetative management services company for failing to properly maintain its electrical lines that became entangled with tree branches that caused the fire. After over three years of doggedly prosecuting the claims of those home and business owners John and Bill secured a multi-million dollar settlement on behalf of their clients. Although John and Bill have since formed their own law firms, they continue to work together and represent clients in various matters as co-counsel. John is licensed in the United States Supreme Court, State of Texas, the United States District Court Western District of Texas, and is a member of the Texas Bar Foundation which is an organization of attorneys who represent the top 1/3 of 1% of the legal profession. From 2001 until 2010, John was also a professor of Criminal Justice for the University of Phoenix. John lives in Leander with his wife Donna and they have four children Bailey, Nolan, Keeli, and Wesley, two dogs, a turtle, and a hedgehog. Their lives are filled with sports, sports, and more sports from baseball, volleyball, football, basketball, and track.

Attorney Shaun Hodge has handled both state and federal cases throughout the State of Texas and the United States. Following Hurricane Ike, which struck the Gulf Coast on September 13, 2008, Shaun was hired by numerous entities up and down the gulf coast to handle their insurance claims. These entities included cities, school districts, a college, as well as a county. Government entities across the gulf coast have selected Shaun as their lead attorney because of his proven results, as well as his leadership and experience in litigating large complex insurance claims. Shaun has also handled numerous insurance claims related to the Bastrop wildfires of 2011, as well as the Possum Kingdom wildfires of 2011. In addition to wildfire claims, Shaun has handled a large number of various claims related to a number of hailstorms, including the McAllen hail storms of 2012, as well as several other major damaging wind and hail storms throughout the region. Shaun Hodge is a Texan and has been a resident of Galveston County since 1995. He is happily married to Natalie Hodge and they are the proud parents of two precious children, Nessa, and Slade Hodge.

Attorney Jim Vieh earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, in Government from Harvard. He earned his law degree, as well as an MBA in Finance, from Cornell University. After graduation, he worked for a prominent Phoenix civil litigation firm practicing insurance defense in civil litigation and auto accident cases. He opened his own practice in 1982 & has focused on personal injury and commercial litigation, with additional emphasis on civil litigation & automobile cases. Over the years, his practice has expanded to the areas of business, real estate and commercial litigation. Mr. Vieh is an AV Rated attorney and is admitted to practice before the Arizona State Courts, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and the Arizona State Bar and serves as a judge pro tem on the Maricopa County Superior Court. I graduated in 1993 at Faulkner School of Law with honors and was a member of the justice court. I have had my trial practice for 24 years which is a 2nd generation law practice and has existed in Mobile and Baldwin Counties of Alabama for over 50 years. My practice areas are Bankruptcy, Criminal, DUI, Personal Injury which includes: Maritime, Auto-Accidents,Workers Compensation and other type cases.

I am the proud father of three wonderful young men, two of whom are now in practice with me, and the youngest, who is a junior in high school, who have the best characteristics of their mother, who I have been married to for almost 30 years.
