Dr. Beck is a nationally known eye specialist in the field of Ophthalmology. He graduated from medical school from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, Magna Cum Laude, in Maywood, IL. He interned at Loyola University in the Department of General Surgery. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at the Northwestern University Department of Ophthalmology, Chicago, IL. His Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Surgical Disease was completed at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston, MA. Dr. Beck went on to complete additional training in Blepharoplasty Surgery under the instruction of Dr. Henry Baylus in Santa Monica, California. Dr. Beck then received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover. There he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Admitted to the Connecticut and New York bars, attorney Jeffrey L. Ment has 26 years of experience helping injured clients, defending and representing police officers with virtually every legal issue that an officer may encounter, representing travel companies and hospitality groups, representing and defending insurers, companies and manufacturers of equipment in personal injury and civil litigation. He has tried more than 34 cases to verdict, and many more proceedings that were resolved in arbitration and/or mediation. Stephen Bernhardt has been an attorney since he was 25 years old. Now, nearly a decade later, Bernhardt has extensive trial experience in both criminal and civil law. He began his legal career as a prosecutor, first handling misdemeanor offenses such as DUI, Battery, Possession of Controlled Substance, Violation of Injunction and many others. Bernhardt was quickly moved to a felony division and become the State Attorney’s Office’s representative for the county’s Drug Court Program. In this role, Bernhardt learned many techniques to help individuals overcome addictions as well as the differences between the many rehabilitation establishments throughout Florida. Prior to leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Bernhardt was the lead prosecutor in his division. Bernhardt conducted several jury trials that ended in convictions and sentences of more than thirty years, including a mandatory life in prison sentence. After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Bernhardt began practicing civil law for one of the largest creditors’ rights firms in the United States. Bernhardt quickly became the lead litigating attorney for the firm’s Florida office and handled countless civil hearings and trials before leaving to start Bernhardt Law, PLLC. Bernhardt Law focuses on the practice areas of Criminal Defense, Personal Injury and Debt Defense. Aaron was born in Phoenix, Arizona, but grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force just weeks after 9/11, serving as both a flight medic and a police officer. While deployed several times, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Phoenix. Following his military service, Aaron worked as a federal officer for the Department of Homeland Security. He led and managed multiple large teams responding to disasters and civil unrest across the United States. During this time, he witnessed the destruction caused by natural disasters firsthand. Aaron later earned a Master of Arts in Homeland Security from Regis University.

Jacob is a U.S. Navy Veteran, a graduate of the University of New Mexico and Valparaiso School of Law. Jacob has been helping New Mexicans injured due to the negligence of others for over ten years. He lives and works in Albuquerque and deeply cares about his fellow New Mexicans.

Jon Starr has tried more 120 cases to jury verdict in Oklahoma. He maintains a civil litigation practice, with a focus on claims involving auto negligence, personal injury defense, business disputes, construction, employment practices, bad faith, medical malpractice, product liability, and professional negligence. Mr. Starr has made oral argument before the the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and also works as a mediator and arbitrator with Dispute Resolution Institute (DRC). He is an accomplished writer and speaker on insurance defense topics, and has served as president of the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel.

Elizabeth focuses her practice on representing those injured or killed by catastrophic injuries, workplace injuries, major car crashes, truck crashes, and premises liability cases in courts across Texas. Elizabeth grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. She received her bachelors degree from the University of Oklahoma, and received her J.D. and a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (A.D.R.) from Oklahoma City University School of Law. When not working or volunteering, Elizabeth likes to spend time with her husband, their dogs, and their families and friends.

Mr. Lazzaro is the newest member of the firm and he has already obtained quite a bit of courtroom and trial experience. He has achieved excellent results in personal injury matters, in workplace injuries, as well as in municipal court.
