Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Tibbs considers himself a Louisvillian, having lived here for two decades and counting. He first came to town to attend the University of Louisville on a debate scholarship in 1994. In his first year as a team member, he finished in the semi-finals of the Collegiate Novice National Debate Tournament held at Northwestern University. Mr. Tibbs served on the team for three years before moving into a position as assistant coach. After graduating with a Degree in Business Management, he attended the Brandeis School of Law and the University of Louisville Graduate Business School. In 2001, he received his MBA from the University of Louisville and graduated from the law school in 2003. In law school. Mr. Tibbs was a member of the National Criminal Law Moot Court team. While in law school, he was the first African-American to win the Pirtle-Washer Moot Court Competition. Pirtle-Washer is the law school’s “oldest and most prestigious moot court competition,” and his achievement here speaks to his skill as a well-prepared and impassioned trial lawyer. After graduation, Mr. Tibbs became a member of the Adult Trial Division of the Louisville Metro Public Defender’s Office, successfully defending clients charged with complex felonies. Mr. Tibbs has tried over 40 cases in the District and Circuit courts of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He has received seven Walker Awards for excellence in advocacy (awarded only when a client is acquitted of all charges in a felony trial in circuit courts). In October of 2008, Attorney Tibbs was promoted to Deputy Chief of the Adult Trial Division, becoming Chief of that division in July 2010. He was selected out of a national pool to attend the National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, graduating in 2007. In 2008, Mr. Tibbs received the prestigious Frank E. Haddad, Jr. Young Lawyer of the Year Award, given to the top lawyer under 35 in Louisville. He is a member of several civic and professional legal organizations including the Louisville Black Lawyers Association, NAACP, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Tibbs is also a member of the Louis D. Brandeis American Inn of Court. In his spare time, he is the Assistant Mock Trial Coach for duPont Manual High School in Louisville, Kentucky.

A second generation attorney, Ben returned home to his native Lawrence County in April 1986 to practice law with his father, William E. Boston (1926–2000). Since that time, Ben has carried on the Boston legacy and strong reputation within the legal community. He is not afraid to take on insurance companies, corporations, or big Nashville defense firms. Ben has extensive experience in state and federal courts, trying numerous jury trials and obtaining multi-million dollar verdicts, while also successfully negotiating and mediating large settlements, brokering real estate and business transactions, and defending clients who have been wrongfully charged with a crime. Ben will help you develop a winning strategy, whether personal injury, employment discrimination, or complex business disputes. He is rated by Martindale-Hubbell as an AV Preeminent attorney and certified as a specialist in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Ben is also committed to his community, chairing the Lawrence County Education Foundation and serving as City Judge for Lawrenceburg. He has raised four successful adult children (two third generation lawyers) with his wife, Shelley, and is the proud grandfather to two beautiful grandchildren.

Raised in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia, Tom attended Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. He obtained his undergraduate degree in History and Government-Law while earning Academic All-Patriot League status on the diamond. He earned his juris doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in Athens, he participated in the Special Education Practicum helping underprivileged families earn the educational benefits afforded them under the law. After law school, he returned to northern Virginia, practicing for four years with a boutique litigation firm in Warrenton. He then transitioned to a growing regional firm, where he managed two criminal defenses offices and spearheaded their Virginia civil litigation practice for over eight years. Tom brings this wealth of experience to the already dynamic team at the Laurel Brigade Law Group.

Ms. Anastasia J Mahone, Esq. built and manages the Premiere Divorce, Paternity and Family Law Division at K/S Attorneys at Law in matters, including but not limited to: - Divorce / Dissolution of Marriage; - Child support establishment/modification; - Parenting Plans / Time-sharing / Visitation (also known as child custody) establishment/modification; - Paternity establishment/disestablishment; - Restraining Orders; - Step-parent Adoption; - Parental Relocation with Minor Children; - Post final judgment matters. Anastasia also practices various other civil litigation actions, Department of Business and Professional Regulations (DBPR), as well as, personal injury. Anastasia graduated from high school at the age of sixteen and proceeded to obtain a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology along with a minor in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University in 2009 with. In 2014, Anastasia, after attending law school at night and maintaining full-time employment throughout, received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Nova Southeastern Shephard Broad Law School and, upon admittance to the Florida Bar, joined K/S Attorneys at Law providing legal service to firm clients demonstrating a resilient and unbridled passion and dedication to the law and the needs of the firm’s clients. Anastasia has professional experience in the fields of Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Andrew hails from the farm country outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from New England schools, where he met his wife, a fifth generation Alaskan. When she brought him back to her beloved Last Frontier, it was love at first sight; he knew it was only a matter of time until he would live in Alaska. Andrew joined Rehbock & Wilson in 2015. He continues the Firm tradition of representing injured workers, helping them to navigate the tricky pitfalls of the Workers' Compensation system and disability. Andrew enjoys hiking, boating, hunting, fishing, snow-machining, and all of the outdoors activities that make Alaska a beautiful and awe-inspiring place to live. He lives in the Valley with his wife, Alyssa.
