I am a native of Chicago, Illinois, and received Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and speech communication from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, spending one semester studying abroad in London and traveling all over Europe. Following that, I earned my Juris Doctorate from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. I moved to New Jersey following graduation from law school and was licensed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey in 1994 and the Supreme Court of New York in 1995. Moving back to Chicago, I was then licensed by the Supreme Court of Illinois in 1995, and after moving to Texas, I was licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas in 2016. I have also been admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, when I was appointed by the U.S. Court of Appeals as attorney to an inmate in his criminal appeal. I have also practiced in various state and federal courts around the country. During my practice, I have practiced in the areas of family law, corporate and securities litigation, mediation and arbitration, as well as product liability mass litigation, probate, and civil litigation. I am also a certified family law mediator. My primary focus now is on all aspects of family law including divorce, child custody, child support, visitation, and spousal support. Starting in Chicago and then New Jersey, I was blessed with three amazing children. After we moved to Texas, I was divorced from their father, took in two more children, and decided I could best help people by combining my life experiences with my abilities as a lawyer. The practice of family law involves intense emotions in the clients. As an experienced litigator and from my life experiences, I am able to empathize with and fervently advocate on behalf of my clients while offering creative solutions and ideas to help clients adjust to their new “normal”.

Marla Zide’s interest in the law began at a young age, inspired by her father’s work as an attorney. A native of New England, she moved to Maryland in 1993 to attend Goucher College, earning a degree in psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies. She later graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2001, focusing her studies on family law. During law school, she gained valuable experience through the Family Law Clinic and her work with the Maryland Legal Service Network, where she helped expand access to legal resources across the state. Since her admission to the Maryland Bar in 2001, Ms. Zide has dedicated her practice to guiding clients through family law matters, including divorce, custody, visitation, support, and adoption. She has represented parents, grandparents, and children in Anne Arundel County and throughout Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County, Harford County, and Maryland’s Eastern Shore. After retiring from the US Army in 2009, Mr. Farmer, never one to rest on his laurels, decided to pursue a second career as an advocate. Earning his Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies under the GI Bill at the University of Maryland, Mr. Farmer went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Concord Law School in 2013, becoming a member of the California State Bar in 2015. While his military career took him all over the world, Mr. Farmer grew up in Texas, and when the time came to decide where to begin his legal career, he settled close to his roots, starting a practice in Lawton, OK, and eventually expanding to an additional office in Oklahoma City, where he currently lives. Since that time, Mr. Farmer has been defending the rights of those who find themselves at a disadvantage when faced with legal issues. ​Working in the federal court system, Mr. Farmer is admitted to practice and represents clients in the federal courts of the Western, Eastern, and Northern Districts of Oklahoma and the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. A member of the California State Bar, he is also admitted to practice and has represented clients in Immigration Court, before the Social Security Administration, in the Comanche Nation Tribal Court, Chickasaw Nation Court, Seminole Nation Court, and the Veteran's Administration. ​An avid golfer, Mr. Farmer enjoys spending his free time outdoors, either on the golf course or exploring Oklahoma with his family.

Steve Bryant is a member of the firm’s litigation section. His practice also includes business and real-estate related matters. Steve is BV-rated by Martindale Hubbell and is a member of the John Marshall American Inn of Court. For almost 40 years, Steve has been assisting people and businesses with the challenges of everyday life. He is a Richmond native and was educated in the Henrico County school system. Steve is active in civic affairs, sporting events and professional organizations.
