Mr. Murphy’s legal career emphasizes management labor, corporate, and litigation matters. Selected in the publication of Best Lawyers in America, Mr. Murphy represents many large and small businesses, including Fortune 500 corporations, and serves as counsel to a variety of trade associations as well as major governmental agencies in all areas of labor and employment law. Mr. Murphy has presented and argued hundreds of cases including labor and employment matters in proceedings at the administrative, state, and federal levels. He has successfully argued labor and employment cases at both the state and federal levels, including the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. Mr. Murphy is a former member of the Governor’s Task Force on Labor-Management Relations and past President of the Boston Chapter of the Industrial Relations Research Association and advisory counsel to the American Arbitration Association. In addition, Mr. Murphy is a member of the Labor Relations Advisory Committee, a select panel of the nation’s leading labor relations attorneys and he has served on a national team of seven lawyers that advises an association of 1,200 hospitals across North America. Mr. Murphy is a former Chairman of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, former Advisory Director of the Bank of Boston, and a Director of Quincy Mutual Insurance Company and other profit and non-profit corporations and trade associations. In December 1989, Mr. Murphy was honored as a recipient of the Cushing-Gavin Award for management representation in the field of labor relations. In 1996, Mr. Murphy was elected as a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Law. Mr. Murphy was one of only fifty practicing attorneys in the nation honored with the Fellowship appointment and was the only attorney in Massachusetts to receive the Fellowship. Mr. Murphy is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Suffolk University Law School. He is admitted to the Bars of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Math, is originally from New York and after having served in the U.S. Navy relocated to Los Angeles where he attended California State University at Los Angeles, graduating in 1968. Mr. Math subsequently attended and graduated from Loyola University, School of Law. While attending he was, as a result of his having excelled in Moot Court Competition and Legal Writing, awarded a Teaching Fellowship. Mr. Math graduated from Loyola University in 1972 afterwhich he attended UCLA, Institute of Industrial Relations under a grant of the U.S. Department of Labor and was trained as an Arbitrator. Mr. Math has served as a Mediator, Arbitrator and Judge pro tem. Our firm is composed of experienced attorneys and associates with over 70 years of cumulative experience in many aspects of the law. Adair Buckner was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. She attended both undergraduate and law school at Texas Tech, and her blood runs red and black. Her husband’s grandmother was the very first graduate of Texas Tech. Her children were the 56th & 57th members of her husband’s family to attend Tech. Adair majored in business management as an undergraduate, finishing with honors. She immediately began law school and graduated with highest honors. While in law school, Adair was the Comments Editor of the Texas Tech Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif (the top 10% of the class). When she finished law school in 1976, Adair moved back to Amarillo to begin her law practice. She has been in law firms, large and small, during her practice and is now a sole practitioner. Adair has been actively involved in the Amarillo Area Bar Association and Amarillo Area Bar Foundation, having served on the boards and as president of both groups. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas Real Estate, and Estate Planning, and Probate, and the Labor and Employment Law sections. She has been board certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1996. She practices management-side only in employment law.

Tracy Neal-Lopez is the founding member of the firm; she has wealth of trial and litigation experience, having taken numerous cases to judgment, including jury trials, bench trials and arbitration. Attorney Tobin, a native of the Tampa Bay area, received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a Minor in International Studies, from the University of South Florida in 1988. In 1996, Mr. Tobin received his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in Texas. While at St. Mary’s, Mr. Tobin was active in trial advocacy, mock trial and moot court as well as the International Law Association. He attended the Institute for World Legal Problems in Austria in 1994 and interned with Justice Craig Enoch of the Supreme Court of Texas in 1995. Mr. Tobin was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1996 and began his career primarily practicing employment law in Daytona Beach, Florida. He returned to the Tampa Bay area in 1998,where he has continued practicing employment litigation ever since. In addition, he has expanded his practice areas to include commercial litigation, contract disputes and business law.
