My Journey... I first thought of pursuing a career as an attorney when I was taking a course in the inequalities of our judicial system during my undergrad work at Penn State. By the time I finished that course, I had made up my mind to attend law school and become an attorney. Once I graduated law school and passed the Bar Exam, the first area of law I practiced was a Pro-Bono case involving child custody. Today I still practice Family Law as well as Real Estate and Estate Planning, Criminal, Business, Probate and Contracts. My Focus... I love these areas of law because I am a people person and all of these areas of practice bring me face to face with real people. Helping people through the most difficult time in there life during a divorce or helping people embark on a wonderful moment in their life by helping them buy their first home, either way I am here to help and enjoy what I do. I know it sound cliche, but I truly enjoy helping people...that is what it is all about. Helping real people with real problems and guiding them through with as little stress as possible. Tonya handles all aspects of family law- divorce, dissolution, separation, custody and support. She has extensive experience with each element from negotiations to litigation. Tonya has completed the training for and has been on the appointment list as a guardian ad litem in Hamilton and Clermont Counties. She has over sixty hours of training in mediation services, with an emphasis on family/divorce law. In addition to family law, Tonya provides estate planning services and represents individuals seeking Chapter 7 bankruptcy relief. MILITARY: Tonya has been a member of the Kentucky National Guard since 2001. For the first seven years she worked as a military police officer, including a deployment to Baghdad, Iraq where she was awarded several medals including a Purple Heart. In 2008, she commissioned as a Signal Officer and spent the next seven years in service to the 149th Brigade as a platoon leader, executive officer, and company commander. Tonya was a Judge Advocate, serving as trial counsel for the Kentucky National Guard, and is currently the Cyber Law Chief for the Kentucky National Guard. PERSONAL: Tonya is married and lives in Northern Kentucky with their six children.

Jimmy Chong is admitted to the bars of Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey and in the District Courts of Washington DC, Delaware, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He has offices in Wilmington, DE, Lansdale, PA and Philadelphia, PA. He focuses his practice on personal injury law but has handled a variety of other types of law including business transactions, landlord tenant law, contract law and criminal law. Mr. Chong has been rated by Super Lawyers in both Pennsylvania and Delaware, the National Trial Lawyers Association and the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. He is presently a member of the Board of Directors at Penn Asian Senior Services, Philip Jaison Memorial Foundation and has served as a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Korean American Association of Greater Philadelphia. He has acted as general counsel for the Korean American Grocers Association of Philadelphia. He earned his JD from Widener University School of Law which is presently known as Delaware Law School and his Estate Planning Certificate through the LLM Graduate Tax Program at Temple University Beasley School of Law. He has completed certificate courses with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. He earned his BS in Business Management and BA in Economics from Bucknell University while earning the Bucknell Scholarship all four years he attended the university. He was born and raised in the State of Delaware, lived in Philadelphia, PA for many years but now resides with his family in Montgomery County, PA.

Bob has been practicing law for twenty-nine years and is licensed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. Bob attended the University of New Hampshire and graduated with degrees in Business Administration with minors in Economics and Philosophy. He subsequently completed his legal training at the University of Maine School of Law, graduating with his law degree in May 1988. He is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine and the First circuit Federal District Court. Bob has been a member of the SSJM team since 1988. During Bob’s first decade as a lawyer, he primarily litigated commercial, business, personal injury and family law disputes. The financial and emotional cost of the traditional litigation model to Bob’s clients has caused him to redirect his professional energy. Although Bob frequently litigates appropriate cases, he now guides clients toward a collaborative and peaceful solution to their legal problems. In the collaborative method, clients maintain control, reduce legal fees and the emotional turmoil associated with litigation, all while maintaining privacy which does not exist in the litigation model. Bob is a member of the Mass.
