About Tanya
Born in Georgia and raised in Alabama, Tanya enjoyed a wonderful childhood with her parents and two sisters, as they spent summers traveling and discovering history all over the world and the school year exploring North America, by visiting national landmarks and attending theatre, opera, and symphonies throughout the country. This experience inspired Tanya to make a difference in the world.
After graduating law school, Tanya’s heart was drawn towards helping immigrants, one of this country’s most under-served and discriminated against populations. Therefore, she decided to move to Costa Rica to learn Spanish. After hundreds of hours of Spanish instruction and immersion, she returned to the United States and began working with the Hispanic population.
Tanya is blessed to have a wonderful, loving, and supportive wife and children. When not working, Tanya and her family enjoy spending as much time as possible on the water and especially look forward to their scuba diving excursions. In addition, they love to mountain bike and hike in the beautiful state parks surrounding their home in Birmingham, AL. She is very happy to be on this journey through life with her family and she is excited for the opportunity to serve the immigrant community with Solano Law Firm.
