About Theodore

Ted attended Earlham College in Richmond Indiana on a National Merit Scholarship. He received his J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, magna cum laude in 1999. After law school Ted joined the Jefferson County Public Defender's Office where he learned advocacy skills from some of the best criminal defense attorneys in the state. In less than two years at the Public Defender's Office, Ted tried eight cases to juries, in six of those trials his clients were acquitted of all charges or received credit time served on lesser offenses. Since leaving the Public Defender's Office Ted has handled a wide variety of civil and criminal cases. He has handled hundreds of consumer, auto accident and professional negligence cases, both on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants. On behalf of plaintiffs, he has obtained substantial damages awards, including punitive damages awards, through trial and settlement. On behalf of defendants his zealous representation has frequently resulted in summary dismissal or favorable arbitration rulings.

Ted now concentrates his practice in major civil litigation. On behalf of individuals he handles catastrophic personal injury, professional negligence, and consumer fraud cases. On behalf of his business clients Ted handles a wide variety of complex commercial litigation. Ted is not only a skilled advocate but he cares about his cases and his clients.

Ted is a lifelong resident of Louisville. He is happily married and has two young sons.
