About Tom

More than twenty-five years ago Tom left the plains of Kansas to earn his law degree in Washington, D.C.  Afterward, he went on to work as a prosecutor in New York and later became a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries.  Now, with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the Boston University School of Law, Tom focuses his practice on taxation in all its civil and criminal aspects.

In particular, Tom represents individuals and small businesses, helping them resolve their immediate domestic and international tax issues and plan for the future.  With a strong quantitative and business background, Tom brings a rare and powerful skill set to every tax controversy.

By working directly with his clients Tom provides them top quality legal services on a wide range of issues while keeping costs lower than larger firms.  And by taking time to get to know those he represents, Tom offers the personal service that is crucial to successful planning and tax controversy resolution.
