Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

I feel I made a big difference in an auto accident case that was finally settled recently. My client was t-boned by a car which ran a stop sign and totaled my client's vehicle. My client was hurt very badly. I was able to help him find the right doctors who were both professional and medically competent. I stayed in close touch with the client and advised him constantly about medical treatment, the fact he was going to be under surveillance. I fought with the insurance adjuster a long time before we were able to obtain a fair settlement.

How did you build a successful practice?

I built a successful practice by being closely involved in my client's cases, talking to them personally or on the phone, and promptly returning phone calls. I get a lot of referrals through clients I've already represented who were happy with the work I did for them.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

Clients should look for a lawyer who is personally interested in the client and doing a good job for the client. Being a lawyer is an opportunity to help people solve problems in their lives which is very personally rewarding for me.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Local knowledge is important because local lawyers know how each judge operates and understands the people in the community who are on the juries in case there is a jury trial.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

In a free phone consultation, I need personal information about the client, where the person lives, when the accident happened and where. Also need to know if there's an accident report available and what hospitals and doctors the person has been treated by.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

I'm different than other lawyers because I am good at communicating, calling people back promptly. I've been a lawyer for over 30 years so I have a lot of experience, I've handled a lot of cases. I have a good reputation in the community for honesty, integrity and competence.
