At an emergency hearing, I successfully went from supervised visitation for my client - supervised at the ex-spouse's home for a few hours on weekends - to an alternating one-week/one-week scenario, a very rare switch in such an emergency context, and all against an adversary with nearly 50 years experience. It was a joy to make such an meaningful impact in my client's life, and, especially, the life of the child.

I have great respect for my attorney colleagues in the immediate community and beyond. What sets me apart is my continued willingness to balance a determination to see cases through with vigorous advocacy before the courts while simultaneously exploring settlement options through creative solutions with just as much tenacity. My priority is exceeding client expectations and limiting costs as much as possible. Bringing hope and practical solutions to a person facing the end of a relationship, an end that can often bring about an avalanche of emotion and uncertainty, is hugely gratifying. As well, knowing I can make a difference in a child's life, a child too often deprived of a true voice in the courtroom, is personally rewarding in a way that really defies description.
