Elizabeth A. Lunt was born in Liverpool, England in 1951. She graduated with honors from Oxford University in 1973 and received a Diploma in Social Administration from London School of Economics in 1974. Having emigrated from Britain to the United States in 1974, she worked first with children charged with juvenile offenses for the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services. She graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1978 and clerked for the Massachusetts Superior Court for a year before joining the firm in 1979.

Ms. Lunt concentrates her practice in the areas of criminal defense and serious personal injuries. She also represents both plaintiffs and defendants in sexual harassment cases. Ms. Lunt has twenty years of trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts. She has handled an extensive range of criminal cases from district court misdemeanors to first degree murder and federal conspiracy charges. She has also litigated numerous new trial motions and appeals. She is experienced in resolving civil cases through negotiation and mediation as well as trial.

Ms. Lunt has lectured at criminal defense training programs and has appeared on national and local television as a commentator on legal matters. She is a member of the Massachusetts and National Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Steering Committee of the Individual Rights and Responsibilities Section of the Boston Bar Association.
