This place is amazing! One of the ONLY city-funded organizations that actually fulfills its mission (unlike BACS, BOSS, Abode, and so many other Oakland "nonprofit" POVERTY PIMPS doing their best NOT solving homelessness so they can ensure their own job security and continue embezzling all the millions of dollars in municipal homeless money from city coffers straight to their pockets)!
So after I made an enemy at SSI, and was terminated from permeant disability,,,,SNAAAP,,,,,,A GREAT FRIEND STEERED ME TO HAC!!!! NOW I AM REINSTATED, WITH ALL OFF MY BACK PAY . I O U Adept I can never repay. May God's light always shine bright on the souls that are H A C. And u and me.

As always I am extremely pleased with the HAC because if it wasn't for Rima Maher with the HAC I would still be on the ferris wheel waiting for my SSI BENEFITS. And once again I have been given wonderful news regarding my issues from a few years back and I can close that negative part with happy endings. I wish I could give more stars but I'm sure this post should say how much I appreciate the HAC.
I dealt with them for Legal Appeal decisions whose out come toke to long and was "denied". Timeframes delays were based on their negative views, decisions, programs, survival, statues, foremost culture prejudices. Im now being forced to continue the prejudice cycle of court like appeals on my own based thats old, personal, and repetitive routines for assistance solutions. Again the term is called "Using a Minority". Dont get me wrong I have a roof above my head at a cost and at someone else head/hand. Its a win are lose situation that want adjust or compromise. P.S It has nothing to do with COVID19 thats just a additive cause if action. Stay Safe, Informed and Connected
