I have been actively looking for a job for a while now. Looking for hybrid work since my kids will be attending schools close to my house - I don’t want to be too far away in case of an emergency. I received a call from Cole about a job that sounded perfect! I was elated to say the least at this new possibility. He was extremely polite and friendly and scheduled an immediate interview for that afternoon. I cancelled an appointment I had for that afternoon to make room for this interview however the time came and went and no one reached out. I assumed they had gotten busy and would reach out the next day. I followed up with an email but still heard nothing. The rest of the week came and went and I never heard back. This is extremely unprofessional and rude. I would have understood if they wanted to look for a more qualified candidate or someone with a more flexible schedule but to just not respond is terrible.

I've been in the technology field for twenty-five years. And in all this time, I've learned that finding good recruiters is difficult, and finding a great recruiter is winning the lottery. And I finally won that lottery, with Cole Stringer. Cole spent months fighting for me, looking for the perfect roles for me, being a stand in therapist while I stared down the barrel at yet another layoff round heading my way. And his efforts paid off, I just accepted a role I am super excited for, a role I would not have gotten without Cole's due diligence, care, attention to detail, messages, phone calls just to help boost my morale, all of it. I feel like I made not just an important ally in the working world, but someone I would gladly help out as a friend. I am now referring my entire, vast network to Cole Stringer and Insight Global, for help during these rough layoff times. I cannot thank him enough for his months of hard work with a great attitude. And a huge thank you to Cassidy Starling for additional interview prepping, I have honestly never been so prepared for an interview process before, by any recruiters, ever, in my entire working history. Worked with Matt Barna and Maddie Neidig, and although I ultimately accepted another offer due to the timing, they were hands down the most professional recruiters I’ve ever been in contact with. I received a call from Gabby, who barely introduced herself,. and was so dismissive and unprofessional I was stunned. In fact, I thought it must be a scam because I couldn't imagine any representative speaking to a potential candidate in the manner she did to me. She barely listed to my responses, then stated I wasn't "good enough." That was it for me. And I texted my feelings professionally to her but would never deal with a company who employs people with such disdain.

I have had a positive experience with Insight Global overall, however, I encountered some challenges with two recruiters recently. While I do not have any problems with the recruiters themselves, I do take issue with their decision-making. During the final round of my remote job interview, I did not receive any immediate feedback apart from being informed about some uncontrollable background noise during the interview. Although I accept responsibility for this mistake, I believe it is unfair to penalize me for a situation beyond my control. When I explained this to the recruiter and apologized, they requested that I write a Letter of Intent, assuring me that the team would review my response and provide further communication. I diligently followed up on a daily basis and learned that my response was under review. However, after waiting for an extended period of 2-3 weeks, I was informed that my application had been considered as an alternate resource, despite having 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role and being a good fit for the position. Furthermore, I did not receive any feedback. Interestingly, my junior colleagues, whom I referred, received offer letters while I did not. This situation has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing for me, as I was genuinely excited about this role. I kindly request the team to thoroughly investigate this matter and provide me with the recognition I deserve. Your attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
