Law Offices Of The Public Defender

The worst experience EVER! I have called over 20x in the past 2 months at least only to be transferred all over the place. Even the Superviser did not even call me back after 21/2 weeks! Wow! I filed a case last November and no one has returned any information to me whatsoever! And today the receptionist was so rude to me yelling at me on the phone about how each attorney has 1200-1400 cases! And then when I was talking she rudely transferred me to my attorney without letting me finish what I was saying! These people are supposed to help the public, not be nasty to them! I did not deserve that! I just want to speak to someone about what is going on with my case???

1 Star is too much. Negative stars here are appropriate. The Public Defender is a corrupt cabal that operates for the benefit of prosecution, all too willing to engage in malfeasance to protect the dirty cops and even dirtier attorneys with the District Attorney and CIty Attorney knowing that good jobs with more money, more kickbacks and more security with more powerful law Orders await them with the offices of the District Attorney and City Attorney if they do. The Public Defender is the burger flipper position in the legal profession, and no attorney wants to be there. God help you if you have to use these people. You will need to be prepared to do your own legal work if you do.

San Diego Public defenders worked harder on my case than i have ever heard of before. Im grateful to have my case handled in such a professional matter. :-) Keep up the good work. To all the negative reviews..... When you're guilty your guilty. :-)

I was a paralegal Intern for this office, and it was such a great honor to work for them. Since the day of my interview I felt welcome, and I knew I had found the perfect place to develop my skills and abilities. I have a great interest for our community; and being part of the Public Defenders office gave me the opportunity to serve our community better.

Absolutely horrible!. If you have to use a public pretender in the city of San Diego u must question everything and fight yourself for your freedom.Do not leave it up to these unprofessional,over payed, incompetent, lazy ,and they have no respect for you or your freedom. I've personally used them in the late 90s as a mistake. Do your own research ask questions and never take anything they say to determine your future in these people's hands. All the want is you to plead guilty and do the job for them . Some get paid over $100,000.00 ayear to fight for you but they don't. Remember they. Are supposed to work for you ,technically out taxes pay them so they are working for you so stay on top of your stuff.
