Terrible experience with former attorney Jeffrey S. Marks. Doesn't send clients copies of filed pleadings so you can't catch his or his paralegal's mistakes, rather lets opposing counsel point them out to you during trial and Marks says nothing. Told me to not let opposing counsel bully me re: settlement. Isn't that what Marks is for? Blew the slam dunk case in front of a bad judge in Rolling Meadows; I ended up in the red. Also mislead me as to the retainer, that I would get it back in addition to damages. Not so. The retainer was collected so he could line the firm's pockets. Disrespectful of client's time calling you into the office at the last minute to sign documents. By all accounts, it appeared he didn't know what he was doing. Total waste of money.

I'm still waiting for someone to call me from the office. When I call the office number, I get a busy signal.
