I am extremely impressed with Behrend and Ernsberger PC. I recently retained Richard Ernsberger Esq. to defend me in a debt collection lawsuit. The lawsuit was dismissed and we left the courtroom as the prevailing party. From the get-go, I was confident that my case would be in good hands. I have worked with numerous civil attorneys, most of whom are famous attorneys in the jurisdiction they practice law in. However, I found Richard Ernsberger Esq. to be the most thorough attorney I have ever worked with. He is knowledgeable, smart, honest, and very detail- oriented. If I ever need a civil attorney in the Pittsburgh area, Richard would be the first one I would contact.

I needed advice in the early days of entering into an employment agreement with my Tech Startup and I only had sweat equity & experience to offer. Getting involved in a Tech Startup is very exiting and it's easy to not get a equitable compensation agreement... even when everyone has the best intentions. The Ernsbergers helped me navigate my way to an equitable agreement with the business so much that we could stay together through the ups & downs of the first 5 years of our business. It probably helped us be more successful together because we never had compensation as a real distraction.

Barbara Ernsberger has been instrumental in helping me manage my mother's affairs from across the country - first for DPOA paperwork and then for a tricky real estate transaction. She knows how to turn up the heat when it's needed! 2021 Update: We've all been in a pandemic for a year now, and Ms. Ernsberger was still able to expertly help me navigate the process to settle my mother's estate even though I'm thousands of miles away. Behrend & Ernsberger PC is a great group to work with. I have had family work with their group in the past and in the future will use them to represent me. They are extremely intelligent and have many years of expirence under their belt.

Most incompetent lawyer I have ever met. his" professional" recommendations to me were not only not in my best interest, but could have been harmful to say the least. If you are looking for an attorney you'd be better off doing the work or representing yourself before using this firm.
