Joseph Hartman is not the lawyer you want representing your case. Very un professional in his client relations. Hired him for 3 fay a before I fired him. He can barely type and wants to charge you 300 an hour while he single strikes the keys of his keyboard . Draining your retainer doing meaning less tasks that run up your bill if you call him out on it he threatens to quit the case after the third time iasked him to with drawl. He did with drawl after fileing an ethics motion being vindictive. Stay away from this fraudulent lawyer no good for custody cases or any case where you want your lawyer to talk to you in a professional manner

He lied to me and said he was $250 an hour I told him to.file a contempt of court. and then he wants to meet my sister . my sister told me I can't trust him. so I will go to the court house and file it myself. Mr. Hartman is a bad liar and lawyer. I would never refur him to any one he lacks. compassion . and he will be judged by God not me.

Mr. Hartman is one of the most cruel, hurtful, rude, inconsiderate lawyers I have EVER met!! My soon to be ex husband retained him for our first divorce 7 years ago after being abused for 10 years by him, and Mr. Hartman just came at me like I was some sort of SCUM!! Not professional AT ALL!! The JUDGE had to tell him to take it easy on me because he was being totally inappropriate and inconsiderate. I mean...I was physically abused, mentally abused, and verbally abused and he just ripped into me!! Now my soon to be ex retained him AGAIN for a restraining order that needed to be placed due to another 6 years of abuse. My lawyer was respectful to my soon to be ex, totally professional, did not rip into his character, just stuck to the facts. Mr. Hartman, kept going off the subject that had NOTHING to do with a protection order, and again the judge had to step in and stop him, saying please stick to the subject matter at hand. VERY unprofessional!! If you want to GET someone out of spite...HE IS YOUR LAWYER!! If you really just want to get a divorce, a restraining order, in a professional, factual way...LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I had people tell me Mr. Hartman must not have the knowledge on how to stand by you and fight for you, but in a RESPECTFUL, PROFESSIONAL manor. AWFUL AWFUL...may God have mercy on him and all the people who retain him to just hurt someone out of anger.

I retained Joe approximately a year and a half ago for a custody case. He was very professional, reasonable and fair. He worked very diligently to get resolution on my case and I appreciate everything he did for my family and I. I would highly recommend him.
