Victoria is a passionate advocate. She believes everyone deserves a chance to be heard, and she takes pride in finding creative legal solutions. After completing her undergraduate studies, Victoria moved to Phoenix to attend law school at Arizona State University. During her time as a student, she contributed to the legal community as a Note and Comment Editor for Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. Her interest in the intersection of these topics led her to study the impact of Neuroscientific Evidence in courtrooms. Through these endeavors, Victoria earned her school’s Law, Science and Technology Certificate. Tom Dean has been fighting for the rights of cannabis consumers since 1993. Although his interest in marijuana reform began in college, he cut his teeth on marijuana law as an attorney while working for well-known criminal defense attorney Lee Phillips in Flagstaff. After cultivating his knowledge in this area of law and deepening his experience in the courtroom for several years, he moved to Washington, D.C. to become the National Legal Director for the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). As NORML’s Legal Director, Tom initiated and managed many matters of national importance to marijuana policy reform and coordinated the efforts of the NORML Legal Committee and NORML Amicus Committee in key cases throughout the U.S. Since returning to Arizona, Tom has devoted his practice almost entirely to cannabis-related matters. He continues to serve as a lifetime member of the NORML Legal Committee, chairs the NORML Amicus Committee, is Legal Director of NORML’s Arizona state chapter, and was inducted into the NORML Distinguished Counsel’s Circle. He is also a founding member of the National Cannabis Bar Association (NCBA) and the Arizona Cannabis Bar Association (ACBA). Outside of the courtroom, Tom enjoys presenting at seminars and conferences both in Arizona and elsewhere and is working on a book he hopes to publish about marijuana law in Arizona. He will do that for you in your legal matter. Kenn is a die-hard entrepreneur and loves small businesses. Kenn has an amazing wife and 5 awesome kids who keep him sharp with their debate skills. Professionally, Kenn is most proud of his two published appellate wins for consumer debtors: In re. Gray, 523 B.R. 170 (9th Cir. BAP 2014) and In re. Neidorf, 534 B.R. 369 (9th Cir. BAP 2015).

Manny A. Jacobo is a native of Arizona. He attended the University of Arizona for his undergraduate education and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Manny then attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, California where he earned his Juris Doctorate. Following law school, Manny accepted a position as an Assistant City Prosecutor at the Chandler City Prosecutor’s Office where he served for seven years. As a prosecutor, Manny handled countless DUI cases, Domestic Violence offenses, and misdemeanor violations of Arizona statutes and city ordinances. He then became a Deputy Public Defender at the Pinal County Public Defender’s Office, serving in this capacity for three years. As a public defender, Manny had a felony case load that included high level complex felonies and a high volume justice court dealing with misdemeanor DUI’s and Domestic Violence offenses. Manny then became an Associate Attorney at a downtown Phoenix law firm, where he practiced criminal and family law and learned how to run and manage a private law firm. Throughout his career, Manny has handled countless cases, from misdemeanors to felony trials. As a former prosecutor, he is familiar with prosecutor tactics and utilizes this knowledge in the defense of your case. He has extensive trial experience in a wide range of cases. Matt Maerowitz grew up in Arizona and went to high school at Brophy. He received his undergraduate degree in economics from Boston College and later graduated from law school at the University of Arizona. Matt Maerowitz is an experienced trial attorney with a practice focused on DUI, criminal defense, and personal injury cases. Matt has successfully represented clients in numerous bench and jury trials over the past eight years.
