She was a student editor for both the Mercer Law Review and the Journal of Southern Legal History, and clerked for various judges both in and after law school. She subsequently spent nearly a decade working for one of the nation's largest law firms before co-founding Payne & du Toit. She is licensed in both Georgia and Florida, and has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star. She also is a contributing author of Georgia Products Liability, a practitioner's guide to products liability law in Georgia. Catherine believes in giving back to the community.
