J.D. began his legal career working at a firm that specialized in family law, before joining the offices of Lewis Hansen. He is a good standing member of the Utah State Bar and its family law and litigation sections.
J.D. graduated from the University of Utah, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English. After completing his undergraduate degree, he obtained his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law. While at school he worked in the Legal Clinic in the Environmental Law section. He also returned to Utah each summer to intern at various large law firms.
Outside of his law practice, J.D. enjoys spending time with his wife and child, camping, hiking, golf, and basketball. He is fluent in Norwegian.
