About Mike

Michael Glen Mason grew up in Middle Tennessee (Brentwood and Springfield) before attending college at Murray State University where he graduated cum laude in 1995.  From there he attended the University of Kentucky School of Law where he served as an associate editor on the Law Journal until graduating cum laude in 1999.

Michael then returned to Tennessee to practice law.  He began his career at a prestigious Nashville litigation firm where he focused on corporate defense but first got the opportunity to “dabble” in family law.  After leaving the firm, he continued assisting individual corporations with litigation issues, but began to develop a passion for helping individuals going through family law matters.  For the past several years, Michael has focused almost exclusively on family law – taking great personal pride in providing families with affordable and efficient representation.

Cases

STAMTEC, INC. V. ANSON STAMPING CO

Appellee: Attorney for the appellee, Anson Stamping Company LLC. A district court granted a partial summary judgement in favor of the plaintiff/appellant, Stamtec Inc. Stamtec appealed arguing that the district court erred when it failed to include various payments made to a third party as an element of their total damage award. Upon review of the case the courts partially reversed the decision, affirmed a portion of the judgment and remanded the case back to the district courts for further review and proceedings.
