Bart J. Klein is a member of Goodgold West Diaz Maitlin & Klein LLC. Bart has more than three decades of legal experience and has dedicated his career to representing the legal rights of his clients, both corporate and individual. Bart has experience in a numerous of areas of law, both in transactional and litigation contexts, including civil and commercial litigation, construction litigation, commercial real estate, business law, estate litigation, bankruptcy and trademark registration. Bart is an editor of the New Jersey Trust Fund Laws and Agreements section in the “Construction Issues” volume of the Manual of Credit and Commercial Laws published by the National Association of Credit Management. Bart has also lectured on the nuances of construction liens and bond claims in New Jersey. Bart is licensed to practice in the State and Federal courts of New Jersey and New York, as well as in the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Tax Court. In his spare time, Bart is also an avid water volleyball player. He has chaired the water volleyball activity group at his local community pool for more than a decade.

Kathleen M. Gialanella is of counsel to Goodgold West Diaz Maitlin & Klein LLC. She is a practicing attorney in New Jersey and New York and a registered nurse. Her law practice is devoted to representing licensed health care professionals including nurses, physicians, pharmacists, and others who face legal issues in connection with their licensure, professional practices, and employment. She also provides educational and consulting services to health care providers seeking to comply with the numerous state and federal laws and policy trends affecting the health care industry today. She lectures widely and has authored articles and chapters about aspects of health law for several books. She has taught health policy and the legal and ethical aspects of health care to doctoral, master’s and baccalaureate students as an adjunct professor at Teachers College/Columbia University and Seton Hall University’s School of Law and College of Nursing. Ms. Gialanella enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1972; later graduated from the University of Maryland; and then served as an officer in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps. She remained on active duty until 1979 when she was honorably discharged. She is a retired major of the U.S. Army Reserve. She received her law degree from New York Law School in 1983 and a Masters of Law in Health Law & Policy from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2004. Ms. Gialanella is past president of the New York Metropolitan and New Jersey Chapters of The American Association of Nurse Attorneys (TAANA). Her other professional affiliations include the New Jersey State Bar Association (Health and Hospital Law Section), the New Jersey State Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association. She is a past New Jersey Area Representative of the Army Nurse Corps Association.

Jonathan S. Goodgold, Esq. is the Co-Managing Member of Goodgold West Diaz & Klein LLC since its founding. In addition to managing the firm and actively promoting the firm as a whole and the attorneys within it, Jonathan is an active networker and speaker. He previously has written for the New Jersey Law Journal on employment law matters and has been a repeat speaker for the National Business Institute and Lawline on topics concerning collection law. Jonathan is a business lawyer through and through and is a go to resource for other law firms and business owners. Leading the firm’s collection work in all areas and industries allows Jonathan to directly counsel business owners and their operations personnel on the most important item of business, the bottom line. He has counseled clients and negotiated and litigated on their behalf in order for their accounts receivables to become accounts payable. In addition, he regularly counsels clients and litigates on behalf of his clients with respect to employment law and contractual matters. Jonathan had his own law firm for over seven years focusing on civil litigation, and employment and collection law matters. Prior to having to joining his own practice, Jonathan practiced at a leading labor and employment law firm in New Jersey and a civil litigation firm in Hackensack, New Jersey. Jonathan graduated Binghamton University, State University of New York, magna cum laude and with the distinctions of graduating Phi Beta Kappa and with Honors in History. Jonathan earned his law degree (JD) from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and then clerked for the Honorable W. Hunt Dumont in the Superior Court of New Jersey. He resides in West Caldwell with his wife and three children.

Peter A. Greene has a B.A. and an M.S. degree from Columbia University as well as a J.D. degree from Rutgers Law School. He is a certified civil trial lawyer, and is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association and the New Jersey Bar Association. He was a Deputy Attorney General of the State of New Jersey for five years, representing the State Board of Medical Examiners and other professional boards. He was also a staff attorney for Ralph Nader’s Health Research Group in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the New Jersey, New York and Washington, D.C. bars. He has authored a chapter in a text on nursing malpractice defense. He has tried over 150 jury cases to a conclusion including 80 medical malpractice actions. He has also tried fire cases, ambulance and auto cases, as well as insurance coverages cases.
