introduction
Much of his work is devoted to defending people charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs (OVI), vehicular assault, vehicular homicide and other traffic offenses. He has successfully tried many jury trials and suppression motions.
Mr. Walton has served as an "acting judge" in the Shaker Heights Municipal Court since 1996 under Judge K.J. Montgomery. He has been the magistrate for the University Heights Juvenile Diversion program for the past six years.
