Jeffrey L. Jacobs has practiced law for over 30 years and has the savvy and advocacy skills found only in attorneys of the highest caliber. Britt Strottman is a partner in the Sacramento office of Singleton Schreiber and leads the firm’s Public Entity Practice Group, specializing in litigation against corporations for wrongdoing. A seasoned litigator with over 25 years representing state and local governments, as both in-house and outside counsel, and 30 jury trials. After working on the tobacco litigation and subprime mortgage issues as a senior assistant attorney general in Ohio, Britt then represented over 40 California cities and counties in opioid and fire litigation, culminating in a $1 billion settlement with PG&E for the North Bay and Camp Fires. Her knowledge of complex litigation, as well as her ability to resolve eight-, nine-, and ten-figure lawsuits, puts her in a unique class of attorneys. She was recognized by the Daily Journal as one of the "Top 100 Lawyers in California," a “Top 20 Under 40” Lawyer, and one of the “Top 100 Women Lawyers”; by The Recorder as a “Giant Slayer”; and by The Best Lawyers in America as one of “Northern California’s Best Lawyers” for successfully representing the city of San Bruno in the high profile gas line explosion and North Bay wildfire cities and counties against Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E). Since 2023, Ms. Strottman has provided counsel to the County of Mora, Mora Independent School District, Las Vegas City Schools, and Mora-San Miguel Electric Cooperative, aiding their efforts to recover losses from the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Fire. Leading a team of experts, she developed a damages model to prove over hundreds of millions of dollars in reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), covering various damages such as road and structural damage, operational setbacks, and increased administrative costs. Through strategic advocacy, Ms. Strottman has ensured these public entities receive the necessary support to rebuild and thrive after the tragedy. Ms. Strottman represented the counties of Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Lake, Yuba, Butte, and Nevada, as well as the cities of Napa, Santa Rosa, Clearlake, and the Town of Paradise, in the deadly 2017 and 2018 wildfires, work that helped secure a $1 billion recovery from PG&E for local governments. She also represented Calaveras County in litigation over a destructive PG&E-caused wildfire, obtaining a $25.4 million recovery for the county. Her work on the San Bruno pipeline explosion, one of the most catastrophic gas line failures in U.S. history, led to a $120 million recovery for the City of San Bruno. The case stemmed from PG&E’s 2010 pipeline rupture that killed eight people, leveled an entire neighborhood, and exposed years of safety failures. Her role helped force accountability and deliver meaningful resources for the community’s long-term rebuilding. Ms. Strottman’s in-house counsel experience includes serving as a Deputy City Attorney at the San Francisco City Attorney's Office, Senior Assistant Attorney General at the Ohio Attorney General's Office, and a Deputy District Attorney at the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office. Ms. Strottman currently serves on the University of San Francisco School of Law’s Board of Counselors. Britt enjoys spending time with her husband, three active kids, and energetic Border Collie and lives in Walnut Creek, CA. Ms. Strottman enjoys reading and has been in the same book club for 25 years.

Grayson Bowman serves as an Associate Attorney at Singleton Schreiber, where he is part of the Class Action and Mass Torts practice groups in Sacramento. Before joining Singleton Schreiber, Mr. Bowman began his legal career as an immigration attorney, where he gained valuable experience at a prominent immigration law firm in Dallas, TX, where he managed a diverse caseload involving cases before various immigration agencies such as immigration courts, USCIS, ICE, CBP, NVC, the Department of State, and US embassies and consulates. He successfully represented clients from around the world, handling a wide array of cases, including citizenship and green card applications, as well as representing victims of crimes, special immigrant juveniles, and asylum seekers. His dedication to his clients has allowed him to navigate complex legal challenges effectively, ensuring that his clients receive the representation they deserve. Mr. Bowman earned his Juris Doctor from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where he excelled in trial advocacy, becoming a champion in multiple prestigious trial competitions as well as participating on the Moot Court team. During law school, he also volunteered with the CARA Family Detention Pro Bono Project, where he assisted asylum seekers in preparing for their credible fear interviews. Additionally, Mr. Bowman holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he was recognized with the Ezra Taft Benson Award for his academic excellence. A cinephile and outdoor enthusiast, Mr. Bowman brings the same passion and dedication to his personal interests as he does to his legal practice. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Andrew Bluth is a partner in the Sacramento office of Singleton Schreiber and, along with Chris Rodriguez, leads the firm’s Mass Tort practice group. Mr. Bluth has spent his entire career litigating complex civil disputes in state and federal court and has tried cases to juries and judges throughout California and the nation. His experience includes handling consumer class action cases, unfair business practice claims, and environmental cases. He has litigated cases involving a wide variety of issues, such as the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), California’s “two-party consent” telephone recording statutes, health care issues, contract disputes, and banking issues. Mr. Bluth graduated in 2004 from the University of California-Davis School of Law where he represented victims of civil rights violations in the school’s Civil Rights Clinic. He was President of the Moot Court Honors Board and competed on behalf of the law school at moot court competitions. He was also an editor for the Journal of International Law and Policy, and graduated as a member of the Order of the Barristers. Early in his law career, Mr. Bluth was consistently recognized as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star.” He has been regularly recognized as a Sacramento Magazine “Top Lawyer.” Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Bluth was a reporter for the New York Times and the Orange County Register, where he covered national breaking news events as well as the surf and restaurant industries. Andrew grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated with a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University in 1997. He lives in Sacramento with his wife, two children, and two disobedient dogs. Chris Rodriguez is a partner in the Sacramento office of Singleton Schreiber and, along with partner Andrew Bluth, leads the firm’s mass torts practice. Before opening the Sacramento office of Singleton Schreiber, Mr. Rodriguez was a partner at two major national law firms and served as the managing partner of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman’s Sacramento office. Mr. Rodriguez is an experienced trial attorney who has represented clients in jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and administrative hearings involving a broad array of complex civil litigation issues. He prides himself on not only being a fierce advocate and skilled trial lawyer, but also on developing practical, efficient strategies that serve the best interests and well-being of his clients. Throughout his career, Mr. Rodriguez has successfully represented some of America’s largest corporations in business-to-business litigation, as well as in litigation against state and federal agencies.
