Originally from Chicago, Principal Attorney Debby decided to call San Diego, California home after receiving her MBA from Loyola University in Chicago. During her last year in law school she externed at the Court of Appeal, 4th Appellate District, Division One and was a Senior Staff Advisor for the Law Review. After working with mentors in Estate Planning, Debby decided this was the perfect area for her to assist clients with something that most see as an overwhelming task. She makes planning for the future a straightforward, simple and enjoyable experience. In her free time Debby enjoys spending time with her family and friends, her Maine Coon Cat Ace, swimming, tennis and horseback riding. Michael A. Fischler is the senior partner of Fischler & Friedman, P.A. Mr. Fischler was born in New York and has been a resident of Broward County Florida since 1966. Mr. Fischler currently serves as President of the Broward County Bar Association. He graduated from Jacksonville University in 1975, where he double majored in Business and Psychology and minored in Accounting. Thereafter, Mr. Fischler attended both law school and business school at Nova Southeastern University where he graduated with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 1978. Mr. Fischler began his career as an Assistant State Attorney in the Broward County State Attorney's Office. After three years, Mr. Fischler was promoted to be in ASA in charge of the Economic Crime, Consumer Fraud, and Civil Division. In 1992, he joined his practice with Howard S. Friedman, Esq. and formed Fischler & Friedman, P.A. Mr. Fischler's business education, combined with his more than thirty-five years of legal experience, provides him with a unique insight that allows him to comprehensively evaluate business and personal situations faced by his clients. Mr. Fischler focuses primarily on business and commercial transaction litigation and has experience representing businesses and individuals in a variety of different types of claims including breach of contract, fraud, negligence, and breach of fiduciary duty. He has effectively handled numerous matters involving shareholder disputes, business dissolution, non-compete clauses, and matters involving complex accounting. In addition to business and corporate law, Mr. Fischler also handles estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate matters. Sheri D. Coover, Esquire, brings a wealth of experience to her legal practice, having transitioned from public service at the Cumberland County Courthouse to a career in law while raising four children. She earned degrees in Paralegal Studies, Public Policy, and law from Harrisburg Area Community College, Penn State University, and the Dickinson School of Law, respectively. Jo Stone is a Colorado native, whose grandparents were homesteaders in eastern Colorado. Jo has both her bachelors and masters degrees in English literature as well as her law degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. Ray has been practicing in Idaho since 1989. After attending the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1970, he graduated with his BA in Philosophy with highest honor from DePaul University in Chicago, received the Arthur J. Schmitt Fellowship and attended graduate school. He received his Juris Doctor with honor from the DePaul University College of Law in 1982. Ray began his law career in Chicago, clerking for the Chief Judge of the Cook County Law Division and practicing at top-flight litigation firms, also serving as the Sauk Village, IL Fair Housing Administrator and receiving the Mayor's Award for mentoring moot court law students. Ray moved to Idaho in 1989 and began his private practice. He has a long-standing independent practice and was a partner in Martin, Chapman & Schild in Boise. Ray has worked alongside Dennis Sallaz extensively over the years, becoming a partner in the firm in 2014. Ray has been listed in Who's Who in American Law and the Martindale-Hubbel Register of Pre-eminent Lawyers, co-hosted a Treasure Valley legal talk show, was for several years the Legal Columnist for the Idaho Business Review, has taught several Continuing Legal education courses and was published in the Idaho State Bar's Advocate magazine. Ray has an extensive and varied legal and litigation background, spanning divorce, custody and family law, criminal defense, corporations and LLC's, wills, estates and probate, guardianship, contracts, land use and planning, real estate, collections, administrative law, personal injury, fraud, insurance claims and general civil litigation, lawsuits and appeals. He maintains his Illinois license on inactive status relating to Illinois State Courts. Ray's organization memberships have included Rotary Club, Oriental Lodge #60, AFAAM and El Korah Shrine, having been Temple Attorney and liaison to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
