Stevenson Law Office was established by Mathew Stevenson in 2002 and has been serving Western Montana since. Mat Stevenson is a Montana Native, born in Great Falls, Montana. He attended the University of Montana, receiving both a B.A. and Masters Degree in History. He then attended the University of Montana School of Law, graduating in 2002. He currently resides in Missoula-his practice emphasis is on criminal defense, the majority of his cases are in Missoula and Ravalli Counties though his office takes cases throughout the State of Montana. Mr. Benno is an appellate and constitutional law attorney. He began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where he served in both the trial division and the appeals bureau. Upon leaving government service, Mr. Benno worked at a premier civil litigation law firm where he focused on civil rights matters in both state and federal courts. In 2009, Mr. Benno opened his own law practice. Mr. Benno is admitted to the New York and Connecticut state bars, and is admitted to practice in the federal courts of the Southern, Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of New York as well as the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second and Third Circuit. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. From 2006 through 2012, Mr. Benno was an adjunct professor at New York Law School, where he taught Appellate Advocacy and Legal Reasoning and Writing. Mr. Benno regularly lectures for bar associations and continuing legal education providers on topics having to do with constitutional law, appellate advocacy, and trial practice. Mr. Benno has been selected for inclusion in New York Super Lawyers for the last 10 years in the areas of First Amendment and civil rights law. Mr. Benno received his B.A. degree with honors from Johns Hopkins University, and his law degree from Cornell Law School.

Tom Bulger has been a member of the firm (then known as Silvern Law Offices, PC) 1996 when he moved to Colorado here from Philadelphia, where he had worked for a large personal injury law firm. He is a graduate of Canisius College (honors in History, and International Affairs) and Rutgers University School of Law (1993). He has worked as a clerk for a United States District Court Judge and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in its criminal and Organized Crime Divisions. He has been successful as sole trial counsel and also before appellate courts. His record in jury trial includes verdicts for our clients of $640,000.00 (motorcycle accident), $160,000.00 (auto accident); and over $500,000 (slip and fall on ice in the mountains). Recently his appellate advocacy on appeal preserved a $470,000.00 judgment that he had won in Adams County in a slip and fall case. Ari R. Karpf is a zealous trial advocate concentrating his practice in all facets of employment and labor law, including, discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, union avoidance, unemployment compensation, Warn Act violations, and on a select basis, criminal matters. Gerald W. Bosch represents injured workers throughout Minnesota for their workers’ compensation claims.
