I have devoted my professional career to helping and representing injured people for the past 24 years. Injured people need a caring lawyer because too many times insurance companies resist paying fair compensation and benefits to injured victims. When insurance companies fail to do the right thing, I take it "personal" because the injured victim has already experienced physical, financial, and emotional hardships. Since opening my practice on Valentine's Day in 1995, I have created a law firm that is aggressive, honest, and well-respected within both the legal and insurance communities. Lawyers go through ten times more paper than the average office worker which amounts to approximately 24 trees each year per lawyer so its time for us lawyers to be environmentally conscious when running our law firms. I converted my entire office to 100% recycled paper a few years ago. I am now trying to get other law firms to do the same after serving on the Massachusetts Bar Association Energy and Environmental Task Force inspiring other law firms to implement the MBA Green Guidelines which I helped co-author. I am compassionate to the Earth and I am compassionate and attentive to the needs of the injured people who need my help. I grew up in Napa, California and retain strong family ties there. I raised my family in Southern California and as a result I am now a Southern California Transplant. I graduated from Occidental College in 1993 with a degree in Politics and gained sales and management experience for four years prior to enrolling in Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 1997. I earned my Juris Doctorate from Loyola in 2001 and graduated in the top 10% of my division. I have been a civil litigator my entire career, conducting over 2000 bench trials and more than 350 of these in probate court alone. I have been victorious in well over 95% of these trials, recovering hundreds of millions of dollars for my clients. As I move to my mid 50’s, my children are pretty much all grown, my life is stable, and I am focused on providing excellent, high quality, and focused attention to individualized cases where I believe I can truly make a difference. I want to get to know my clients and I want them to get to know me.

Christopher C. Cara joined Pond Lehocky in September of 2012. Chris attended Middlebury College in Vermont where he made the Dean’s List and graduated with a B.A. in English and with Honors in Environmental Studies. He received his J.D. from Villanova University in 2012. Following his undergraduate graduation, Chris worked at Isles in Trenton, NJ, a nonprofit community development organization. During his time at Villanova, Chris was a three-year recipient of the Deirdre L. Bailey Leadership Scholarship, member of the Pro Bono Society, and treasurer of the Environmental and Energy Law Society. Additionally, Chris worked as a law clerk for the following organizations: Exelon Corporation, the Environmental Protection Agency Office of Regional Counsel for Region 3 in Philadelphia, and the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office in Trenton, NJ. During law school, Chris interned with the Honorable Judge Linda Carpenter in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Chris’s interest in Workers’ Compensation law sprung from his enrollment in a Workers’ Compensation course at Villanova taught by Workers’ Compensation Judge Todd Seelig, Mr. Cara earned one of the highest grades in the class. Chris now devotes his practice to representing injured workers.
