Karl joined the Firm in 2004. He has published articles and has given numerous ICLE lectures in his short tenure. Robert is a lifetime Lake County resident, born in Libertyville, Illinois, and raised in the neighboring Village of Gurnee. Robert attended Warren Township High School from 2001-05, where he distinguished himself in academics and athletics graduating among the highest in his class and receiving All-Conference football honors. He conducted his undergraduate studies at Illinois State University as a “University Scholarship” recipient, where, in 2009, he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Studies. Robert was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois on November 1, 2012. He attended law school at the Northern Illinois University College of Law from 2009-12, graduating Cum Laude in May of 2012. In November of 2012, after a brief bought working for major corporations, Robert opened Tomei Law to assist those in financial distress–specifically, representing consumer rights through foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, auto fraud, and debt collection harassment. Donald L. Bell, born on September 29, 1975, in Montgomery, Alabama, is a dedicated legal professional with a rich background rooted in commitment and service. Raised in Montgomery, Donald completed his secondary education at Carver Sr. High, graduating with top honors which reflected his early dedication to excellence. Inspired by a strong desire to serve his country, Donald enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in August 1993. His service was marked by the fundamental values of honor, courage, and commitment—principles that he embraces and integrates into his legal practice daily. During his time in the military, Donald pursued higher education, first achieving an Associate of Arts degree with honors from Campbell University in North Carolina in 1996. Jacqueline Salcines, Esq. was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated high school from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. She then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting, from the University of Miami Business School. Thereafter, Ms. Salcines attended and graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1998. She has been practicing law in South Florida for over 20 years. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Salcines worked for the family accounting practice as a bookkeeper since the age of 16, and later as an accountant for five years after graduating. That is when she decided to pursue her passion for business law, and enrolled in law school. Working as a paralegal in law firms during the day and attending law school at night, Ms. Salcines obtain her Juris Doctor degree in law in 1998. Ms. Salcines began her legal career interning at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office.
