John Piccin has been practicing law for over 40 years. He is rated AV Preeminent for more than 15 years by Martindale-Hubbell. This is the highest possible peer review rating in legal ability and ethical standards. Born in Willimantic, Connecticut, he moved to Ocala in 1974. He is an experienced trial lawyer who has handled innumerable jury trials resulting in favorable outcomes for his clients. John has litigated a wide variety of personal injury cases, insurance disputes, and wrongful death cases. John is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a national organization limited to trial lawyers who have achieved verdicts or settlements of $1 million or more. In 2017, clients of Piccin & Glynn received a record $52 million dollar verdict from a Marion County jury. John is also past President of the North Florida chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, which is limited to lawyers with extensive trial experience and high ethical standards, and Judges. Kyle Bagen is an associate attorney with the Bagen Law Firm. As with all the attorneys in the firm, his practice area is limited exclusively to Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, with heavy emphasis on all types of motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, and truck accidents. Kyle was born and raised in north central Florida and is a graduate of Buchholz High School in Gainesville. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, and graduated from Barry University School of Law in Orlando. Prior to graduating from law school, Kyle spent several summers working as a law clerk for our firm. He also enjoyed a semester abroad in Spain, studying International Law and traveling throughout Europe. Kyle is an avid motorcycle rider and has also had a lifelong interest in athletics, including basketball, football, and golf. He’s a past winner of the 8th Judicial Bar Association Golf Tournament.

Mr. Fine was born in New York, New York and was raised in the northeast, where he studied sociology at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. He then graduated with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1976. In law school, he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, was inducted into the Order of the Coif, and graduated in the top 10 percent of his class. Mr. Fine was admitted into the Florida Bar in 1976, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 1977, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida in 1991, and the United States Court of Appeals 11th Circuit in 1982. Upon graduation, Mr. Fine practiced as an Assistant Public Defender in the Third Judicial Circuit office in Lake City from 1976-1977. He then worked as an Assistant Public Defender in the Gainesville office of the Public Defender from 1977-1980. In 1980, he founded the firm, which is now known as Fine, Farkash, & Parlapiano, P.A., where he wanted to exclusively represent victims of personal injury in claims against negligent parties. Mr. Fine is a highly experienced personal injury attorney and is recognized for his commitment to the law. He holds Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating* (AV) and was a Grievance Committee Chairman for the Eighth Judicial Circuit for 2006-2008. He coached a trial team for the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1994 and has taught as an adjunct faculty in the trial practice course at the law school since 1983.

Mitch Chubb is a native of Central Florida. The son of a pastor and teacher, he was raised in a family whose focus was serving others and helping those in need. This upbringing served as the foundation for his future as a lawyer representing injured people who need to make their voices heard by large corporations and insurance companies.

Marissa Mantia-Kopa, Esq. always knew she would end up in a profession where she can use her compassion and dedication towards helping others. Born in Jacksonville, FL and raised in Central Florida, Ms. Mantia grew up inspired watching her mother, who is also a lawyer, better people’s lives. Ms. Mantia has always had a passion for being a voice to the voiceless and providing direction to those who aren't quite sure what steps to follow. During her time in law school, she was a Judicial Intern at the 18th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, Civil Division. Ms. Mantia was also President of the Disability Law Society at her law school. Soon after graduating law school, and being admitted to the State Bar of Florida, Ms. Mantia began working for a family law firm in downtown Orlando. Following her time practicing family law, Ms. Mantia came to work at the Mantia Law Firm. Since then, Ms. Mantia has enjoyed being able to put her skills to the test, and assist clients who are injured, and not sure what the next best step is for their auto accident case. When she's not in the office, Ms. Mantia enjoys traveling with her husband, and spending time with her two rescue dogs, Frankie and Lucky.
