About April

April earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Mrs. Bayonne earned her law degree from the William H. Bowen School of Law and her M.B.A. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. While attending law school, she clerked for the Public Defender’s office providing legal representation to indigent persons charged with crimes ensuring protection of their due process rights during all stages of criminal proceedings.

After obtaining her law degree, Mrs. Bayonne went to work for the Arkansas Fair Housing Commission, the only civil rights enforcement agency in the state of Arkansas. Here she worked to promote equal housing access, enforce federal and state fair housing and lending laws, and provide statewide education and outreach.

In October 2017, April joined Fitzgerald & Campbell as a client service representative. Since joining the firm, she has worked in many different capacities including IT/Operations Assistant, Performance Management Specialist, and Law Clerk. In 2020, April passed the Universal Bar Examination and is working diligently to obtain admittance to multiple jurisdictions throughout the United States.

In her spare time, April enjoys spending time with her family, camping, hiking, and traveling, especially internationally.
