Bill grew up in Smithville, Tennessee and graduated DeKalb County High School before attending college at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro. Bill went on to law school at the University of Memphis School of Law, where he graduated President of the student body. After graduation, Bill learned to practice law while working with well-respected lawyers in Lebanon, Tennessee.
