Reviews

My husband and I engaged Gawthrop Greenwood for a personal matter and had the pleasure of working with Attorney Patrick McKenna. He is extremely detail oriented, attentive, responsive and straightforward (all things we truly appreciate). Highly recommend him and this firm.
Cannot recommend enough! Lauren Nehra was incredible to help me solve a very challenging contractor dispute. Lauren and the full legal team were professional, knowledgeable, and super responsive. They were able to help me successfully resolve my dispute with a good outcome. Thank you!! Highly recommend.
John Rafferty is an exceptional attorney who truly exceeded my expectations. His expertise, attention to detail, and dedication to my case were outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone seeking legal assistance.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, nothing has changed since the original review. While a partner did reach out quickly in response to that post, the promised K-1 took three times longer than promised. Numerous calls and emails since asking for the status and estimated completion date for finalizing the estate have been completely and consistently ignored. This process has been ongoing for well over two years and so again, our experience indicates that if you want a responsive and timely law firm, you would be well advised to look elsewhere. Original Post: If you want a firm that rarely responds to calls or emails, can't (or won't) provide progress updates about what remains to be done and when it will likely be accomplished, regularly misses legally and financially significant deadlines (e.g. closing out/transferring accounts, probate and estate tax filings, preparing K-1s, etc), and takes significantly longer to complete an estate closing than usual, this is the firm for you. If not, then you may wish to look elsewhere.
I called the office of Gawthrop Greenwood seeking service and representation. I left a message and received a return call in a very timely manner from Lauren Nehra. Lauren listened to my concerns and reviewed information I sent to her via email, without charging a consultation fee. She stayed in touch, returned my phone calls and emails in a timely manner. Although I don't reside in the state of Pennsylvania, Lauren treated me with kindness and concern as if I were in her Pennsylvania office. I was pleased with Lauren's fee and although I didn't receive a copy of the information submitted on my behalf, overall I am satisfied and should I ever need an attorney in Pennsylvania again I would consider the office of Gawthrop Greenwood and Lauren Nehra. Although I didn't receive a copy of the information submitted on my behalf, overall I am satisfied.
