I actually am very pleased with my public defender she tried to keep me in the loop of my case when she could and I never had to show up to the hearings. She eventually got my case dismissed after 6 months of court hearings.
Helped me out immensely when I needed it the most. Felt like I was in good hands and got most of my charges dismissed! Did more than what a lawyer could do, and all for ten bucks! Saved me thousands of dollars.
DO NOT USE THE PUBLIC DEFENDERS OFFICE AVOID THEM IF YOU IF YOU CAN THEY ARE CORRUPT Their attorneys are absolute idiots especially R Osborne go back to law school I think they're just pretending to have a law degree and they're not really lawyers get some real lawyers with real Law degrees YOU DON'T HELP YOU DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS THEY DO WHAT THE DA'S OFFICE TELLS THEM TO DO R OSBORNE YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE IDIOT NOT AN ATTORNEY
The public defender's themselves the attorneys are very polite and respectful. Regina downstairs though is very rude disrespectful and quote in quote a karen. I have been represented by the public defender's office couple times before so I kinda get the gist of how the policy works. I have had a unpleasant encounter with Regina so therefore I have asked for her supervisor. I was greeted with a no and asked to leave when I am there trying to get legal representation. I was able to gain representation so I went back to file a complaint and as I'm doing so she lies to her supervisor and I believe had the cops called.
WoW! They got a bench warrant and the case against me dismissed! All of this during The QUARANTINE! I went to the SSA for proof of income and OF COURSE THEY'RE CLOSED. THEY COULD NOT FAX THE PROOF, so I'd have had to wait AT LEAST TEN DAYS for the proof to be mailed.I'M HOMELESS& I've not been able to go back to the LOPD! STRESSING! THANK YOU TO CHRISTY THE CLIENT SERVICES WORKER FOR BEING COMPASSIONATE & SMART!
