Mr. Hurley is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, and Ohio Northern University’s Claude Pettit College of Law, where he received B.A in History and Juris Doctorate Degrees respectively. Mr. Hurley is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the Northern and Southern District Federal Courts in the state of Indiana. Mr. Hurley served as a public defender with the Marion County Public Defender Agency for 8 years and has spent the past 22 years in private practice with a special emphasis in criminal law defending commercial drivers charged with infractions and criminal cases throughout the state of Indiana. Paul D. Jason was born in Lafayette, Indiana, but grew up in Brownsburg. Jason started college at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and eventually transferred and graduated from Loyola University New Orleans. While attending Loyola University New Orleans, he worked in the Loyola University Archives and at the Loyola University School of Law. After working as a partner at the firm of Yosha Cook Shartzer & Tisch, alongside the trial legend, Louis “Buddy” Yosha for nearly 13 years, Jason decided to start his own firm. Mr. Shartzer currently sits on the Brebeuf Alumni Board of Directors, as well as the Board of Directors for the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. Alex is a bilingual attorney of Cuban decent. Alex is originally from Florida and came up to Indiana in 1999 to play football at Hanover College. Alex went to law school in 2004 and was a law clerk at Mitchell, Hurst, Jacobs and Dick during most of his law school career. He graduated from Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis in 2007 and began his career as a trial attorney with the Marion County Public Defender Agency. Alex returned to work with Bill Hurst in 2011 and currently focuses his practice on plaintiff’s personal injury work. His involvement with the State Bar Association includes serving on the ISBA Diversity Committee, the ISBA Standing Committee on Latino Affairs and the “Talk to a Lawyer” Spanish Line Program. Eric Krupp completed his undergraduate education at Butler University with a B.A. in Telecommunications and a minor in Business Administration. He was awarded his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana. Upon successful completion of the bar exam in 2003, he began his legal career as a criminal defense attorney with the Marion County Public Defender Agency. For 15 years he was a zealous advocate for individuals in Marion County who were deemed to be indigent by the Courts. For more than a decade he concentrated his practice at the agency in the defense of those accused of major felony drug crimes. During the last 2 years of his employment at the agency, he was the supervising attorney in the major felony drug and gun court. He tried numerous cases to both the Court and jury during his employment at the agency. Beginning in 2005, Eric also began engaging in the private practice of law, focusing on criminal defense. He has handled hundreds of matters over the years for individuals accused of traffic infractions, misdemeanors, felonies, and murder.
