Samuel H. Pond has concentrated his practice in the area of workers' compensation litigation since his graduation from Temple University School of Law in 1984. He is a founding and managing partner of Pond Lehocky Giordano. Mr. Pond’s advocacy for his clients has resulted in some of the largest settlements in Pennsylvania and the nation. Mr. Pond is a member and past president of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the current treasurer of the organization’s political action committee, the Committee for a Better Tomorrow. Mr. Pond is the past chair of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association, past chair of its Education and Ethics Committee and its Workers' Compensation Section Executive Committee. Mr. Pond was appointed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to serve on the Board of Law Examiners. He also served on the Board of The Pennsylvania Federation of Injured Workers, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Charitable Foundation. Mr. Pond was appointed by the Speaker of the House of Pennsylvania to the Workers' Compensation Advisory Board. He is a current board member of the Pennsylvania Alliance and the USC Shoah Foundation's Next Generation Committee. He sits on and has served on numerous other boards. Mr. Pond is also president of Union Services Access, a legal consulting services network for unions and their members. In addition to his practice as a workers' compensation attorney, Mr. Pond is a frequent author and lecturer in workers' compensation matters. His Martindale-Hubbell rating concerning Legal Ability and Ethical Standards has been given the highest grade. Mr. Pond was selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® from 2007-2016. Mr. Pond has also been selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers® Top 100 in Pennsylvania and Top 100 in Philadelphia lists for consecutive years. Through lectures and seminars, Mr. Pond educates union members and employees throughout the region on their rights under the Workers' Compensation Act. His charitable contributions are extensive and focused on children and education; they include the Union Services Access Scholarship Fund, The Pond Lehocky Trial Advocacy Scholarship and The Pond Lehocky Legal Studies Department Head Office at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business. He also created the Marie Pond Scholarship Fund in honor of his mother, which is a yearly scholarship awarded to a member of the Torresdale Boys Club.

Kajal Alemo is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a member of both the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice, where she serves on the Social Security Executive Council. Before joining Pond Lehocky, Ms. Alemo practiced for a large Philadelphia law firm, where she assisted senior counsel with the coding of potentially discoverable corporate documents, including privilege determinations for a high profile merger. She was also co-editor of a legal textbook regarding law and business enterprise. A graduate of Villanova University School of Law, Ms. Alemo was the Villanova Law student director of Face to Face Legal Clinic for the Pro Bono Society. She interned at Face to Face during all three years of law school. She was also a student attorney at the Villanova Civil Justice Clinic where she handled her first Social Security case. Prior to law school, Ms. Alemo obtained a B.A. in Psychology from George Washington University, graduating in 2008 on the Dean’s List. She is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International. Under her leadership as President/Justice, Phi Alpha Delta’s King Chapter was awarded most improved chapter in its district.

Christopher C. Cara joined Pond Lehocky in September of 2012. Chris attended Middlebury College in Vermont where he made the Dean’s List and graduated with a B.A. in English and with Honors in Environmental Studies. He received his J.D. from Villanova University in 2012. Following his undergraduate graduation, Chris worked at Isles in Trenton, NJ, a nonprofit community development organization. During his time at Villanova, Chris was a three-year recipient of the Deirdre L. Bailey Leadership Scholarship, member of the Pro Bono Society, and treasurer of the Environmental and Energy Law Society. Additionally, Chris worked as a law clerk for the following organizations: Exelon Corporation, the Environmental Protection Agency Office of Regional Counsel for Region 3 in Philadelphia, and the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office in Trenton, NJ. During law school, Chris interned with the Honorable Judge Linda Carpenter in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Chris’s interest in Workers’ Compensation law sprung from his enrollment in a Workers’ Compensation course at Villanova taught by Workers’ Compensation Judge Todd Seelig, Mr. Cara earned one of the highest grades in the class. Chris now devotes his practice to representing injured workers.

Attorney Bruce Kaye’s claim to fame was being selected to work as a law clerk to the legendary trial attorney Joe Jamail (Pennzoil v. Texaco, Top 10 Trial Attorney in the USA). Prior to law school, Bruce played the keyboards professionally all over Houston. Some key parties included President Bill Clinton, former Houston Mayors Bob Lanier and Annise Parker, Ambassador Arthur Schechter, and many different judges’ campaigns (both criminal and civil). Upon graduation from law school in Houston, Texas in 1992, Bruce opened up his own practice concentrating primarily on Criminal Law (trial and appeals for Federal and State courts), Entertainment Law and Non-Subscriber Work Place Injuries. Not satisfied to “study” law in a soulless environment provided by a large law firm, Bruce began trying serious felony cases right out of school and has never looked back. “I’m one of those people who learn best by experience,” admits Kaye. With Houston being a center for hip hop music, it was a natural evolution for Bruce to represent artists, managers, producers and small record labels in Entertainment issues. Since his arrival in Rapid City, Brad has always been active in the local Pennington County Bar Association (PCBA). The PCBA is an organization devoted to educating others about the role of lawyers in our communities as well as helping financially needy organizations in Rapid City. In 2009, Brad was nominated as the Secretary/Treasurer for the PCBA. In 2010, Brad served as the Vice-President before taking on the role of President in 2011. In 2008, Brad was asked to serve on the Board of Directors for the Seventh Circuit’s Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program. The CASA Program recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers to advocate in court for the best interest of abused and neglected children. The goal of the CASA Program is to have a “voice” in court for every child who needs one. Brad served as the Vice-Chairperson for the Board of Directors until 2014. In 2010, Brad was asked to serve on the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association as the Chair for the Recruitment & Services Committee. The purpose of the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association is to preserve the jury system, promote justice, and establish a high standard of ethics among trial lawyers. In 2011, Brad was appointed to serve as a member of the Board of Governors for the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association. In 2014, Brad was elected to serve on the Board of Bar Commissioner for the State Bar of South Dakota. The Board of Bar Commissioners has many responsibilities which relate to promoting the interests of the legal profession and working to improve the relationships between the profession and the public. Brad is an avid golfer and enjoys organizing golf tournaments to raise money for charity. In law school, Brad organized the Delta Theta Phi charity golf tournament for the benefit of Habitat for Humanity. Brad continued that tradition in 2007 when he organized the Seventh Circuit Charity Golf Tournament, which involves a yearly golf tournament that raises money for charities and worthy causes in the Rapid City area. Each year Brad has continued to organize this charitable event and has helped raise over $60,000 for charity. For the past several years Brad has served on the Worker’s Compensation Committee for the State Bar of South Dakota. As a member of this committee Brad is able to monitor developments in South Dakota’s workers’ compensation system and monitor how the changes may affect South Dakota employees. Brad enjoys spending time with friends and family. He and his wife Ann have two children—Megan and Brody. Aside from work, Brad stays busy coaching and attending his children’s various sports and events, traveling, and golfing.

Matt White is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University in 1990 with a degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing. Matt earned his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 1994 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar that same year. After graduating law school Matt served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Fifth Judicial Circuit of Alabama. While working as an Assistant District Attorney Matt tried many cases to verdict and gained invaluable courtroom experience. In 1999, Matt and his family moved to Auburn and joined the firm of Walker, Hill, Adams, Umbach, Meadows & Walton and began practicing general civil litigation. Matt wass a founding partner in the Adams, White, Oliver, Short & Forbus, LLP firm which formed in 2002. In 2021, Matt started his own practice which specializes in Workers Compensation law, Employment Law, and general civil litigation. Matt's office is located in Opelika, Alabama, which is the sister city to Auburn, Alabama and is located in East Central Alabama.
