He began his college education at the University of Arizona where he earned a Bachelors-of-Science in business. He graduated with honors in 1989, and then earned a Juris Doctor Degree Cum Laude from the University of Detroit School of Law. In his free time, Mike loves to golf, travel, and spend time with his three daughters.

Mr. Banker is a board certified specialist in criminal law with 30 years experience. He is dedicated to the best interest and well-being of those he represents, and with whom he is a true “brother in arms”. As such, he advocates for the success of his clients in courts of law all over Texas and the United States. A native Texan, Mr. Banker was born and raised in the Houston area. He graduated with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin and received his Law degree (J.D.) from the University of Houston Law Center. In between these degrees, Mr. Banker achieved a Master’s degree in Theology from Regent College, and a Master’s in Legal and Constitutional History from Rice University. Additionally, Mr. Banker has travelled extensively throughout Latin America and is fluent in the Spanish language. All this training and education has prepared Mr. Banker for what he believes is his vocational “calling” in life: To stand with and defend those who have found themselves in the very difficult circumstance of facing judgment in a court of law. As a Christian lawyer, he believes that helping people through difficult times is a natural outworking of this faith. Over the years, Mr. Banker has been involved in several “high profile” cases. One of which involved his representation of a high ranking member of the separatist group, the Republic of Texas. Several members had been charged in Federal Court in Dallas with bank fraud. After a month long trial, Mr. Banker’s client was the only one of the nine defendants found "not guilty". Another case involved the owner of a bus company, whose bus caught on fire when evacuating the Houston area because if Hurricane Rita. More than a dozen elderly people were killed in the accident. Mr. Banker’s client was charged in Federal Court in McAllen with several counts involving the operation of his buses. He was found “not guilty” of the felony charges that could have put him in prison for up to ten years, and given probation for two minor misdemeanors. On a personal note, Mr. Banker has been happily married to his wife Rose for over 20 years, and he has been actively involved in the lives of their children, Stevan, Faith and Joshua. They are members of Christ Family Church, where Mr. Banker teaches Sunday school and has been active in leadership for many years.

Eric Boehmer is an award winning attorney with the experience, confidence and knowledge to deal with the authorities when it comes to defending individuals against criminal charges. As a native of St. Charles County, Eric was born and raised in the Wentzville area. He attended St. Dominic High School in O’Fallon, MO. Eric was recently awarded a National Association of Distinguished Counsel Top 1% Award, a Top 100 Trial Attorney award for his achievements in Trial Law and a Top 10 Client Satisfaction Award for Criminal Law in Missouri. Eric attended college at Furman University in South Carolina where he obtained his bachelor degree in Business Administration. While a player on Furman’s baseball team, he was named to the all-conference tournament team and made the Dean’s list for academic excellence. At Furman, Eric also became a member of the largest international fraternity, Tau Kappa Epsilon. Upon graduation from Furman, Eric returned to the Show-Me State to attend law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He received the Cali Excellence for the Future Award before graduating with his Juris-Doctorate. Eric gained experience with internships at two different law firms and worked at the Attorney General’s Office. Upon passing the Missouri Bar Exam, Eric returned to St. Charles County to become an assistant prosecuting attorney. The trial experience and understanding of the court systems he gained during this time were building blocks that helped catapult his highly successful career as a criminal defense trial lawyer. Burke is a native of Palmyra, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in psychology. After graduating from UNL, Burke went on to attend the University of Nebraska College of Law. He was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award® and the Pat Gies Memorial Award for his work representing clients at the University of Nebraska College of Law Immigration Clinic. He also completed a program of concentrated study in immigration and civil litigation skills. Burke’s passion for his community and family led him to open his own firm to better serve the people around him. He takes an active role in the community by serving non-profits and volunteering his time. He loves working with young people and mentoring and coaching the next generation of Nebraskans. Outside of the office, Burke enjoys attending different sporting events and cheering on his Huskers, Texans, and Royals. He loves traveling, seeing the world, and making memories with his family.

A native of Cleveland , John C. Cox has been practicing law in his hometown since 1999. John began work as an associate for his late father and cousin at that time, and became a Member in 2007 before becoming the firm’sManaging Member in 2011. In his practice, John has successfully served individuals in the areas of family law, personal injury, criminal defense, real estate, general litigation, sports law, and wills and estates. Attorney Dana W. Duncan is a native Wisconsinite, whose family has lived in the State since the 1840s. He comes from a family of hard-working people – his grandparents were dairy farmers and his parents were factory workers. He grew up understanding hard work and earning a paycheck. Attorney Duncan has experience and understanding of what clients are going through – his mother was a diabetic who went blind due to retinopathy in her 40s. He watched her cry over having to quit the job she loved. He also looked on as his father fought an insurance company over a back injury and then fought the Veteran’s Administration to give him his VA rating. Next, his father had to fight Social Security to give him disability benefits when his military injuries and age forced him to quit working later in life. These events profoundly changed him and changed his views about disability and workers’ compensation. He has built his career to assist those who need his aid. For these reasons, Duncan Disability Law S.C. was established. Originally from Beloit, Wisconsin, Dana has lived in the Wisconsin Rapids area since 1994 where he founded Duncan Disability Law S.C.
