Josh's civil litigation practice spans a broad range of areas, with a particular focus on insurance coverage and defense involving residential and commercial properties, automobile incidents, construction, trucking, and business losses, including bad faith claims. Additionally, he handles disputes related to contracts, property, businesses, and estates. Josh is committed to delivering positive and efficient outcomes for his clients. He exercises diligence in reviewing each case, identifying available options, and adapting to evolving circumstances to best serve his clients' interests. The practice areas that Josh works in involves: insurance coverage, bad faith, insurance defense, uninsured motorist, underinsured motorist, civil litigation, and arbitration. Josh met his wife, Jessica, during law school. They now live in Geneva, Illinois.

Brian Kennedy has seen it all and will bring his vast experience to your legal goals and needs. For over 40 years Brian has worked in the sports, entertainment, and operations arenas of business. From depositions and discovery to testimony and trial proceedings, Brian will be there wherever you need him. A Vietnam veteran, a graduate of Mitchell Hamline Law, a professional poker player, a former disc jockey, and onetime personal bodyguard for rocker Rod Stewart, Brian also sits on the three-person board of directors of the El Paso Sports Commission, charged with promoting sports tourism. He also runs the El Paso County Coliseum, drawing acts from around the United States and Mexico.

Wes attended Rhodes College, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Economics in 1989. He went on to obtain a juris doctor degree from the Mississippi College in 1992. After becoming a member of the Mississippi Bar later that year, he joined Markow Walker, P.A. Wes handles a variety of defense cases ranging from personal injury to medical malpractice, as well as general insurance defense and workers’ compensation defense. In addition to practicing law in Mississippi, Wes has been admitted to practice before courts in Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, and the District of Columbia. He has been recognized by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy for his advocacy and deposition skills. Wes resides in Madison with his wife, Loria Elzen Williams, and their twin daughters, Anna and Loria. He is an active parishioner of St. Francis Catholic Church in Madison. Wes enjoys golf and playing the guitar. He is an avid supporter of LSU athletics, the New Orleans Saints, and the Mississippi Braves.

Pepper, a native of Charleston, Mississippi, completed his undergraduate work at the University of Mississippi, where he received a B.B.A. He received his juris doctor degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1989, and he was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. He practiced in Birmingham, Alabama, for 2 years representing title insurance companies, before moving to Jackson, Mississippi, in August 1991, where his practice consisted mainly of general civil litigation. Pepper joined Markow Walker, P.A., in 1993 and practices mainly in the workers’ compensation law division. He also works in the general liability division handling the defense of personal injury claims. Pepper has an AV ranking from Martindale Hubble. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association, Defense Resource Institute, Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, the Madison County Bar Association, and the Alabama Bar Association, as well as being the Past-President of the Madison County Association. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Mississippi and Alabama. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Law Alumni Chapter of the University of Mississippi School of Law. He has served as a faculty member for various seminars on workers’ compensation including those sponsored by the National Business Institute, Lorman, Inc., and CISI. He is also an approved mediator for the Mississippi Bar’s Pilot Mediation Program for workers’ compensation cases. Pepper resides in Madison, and he has two children, Pepper, Jr., and AnnaLee. Pepper and his family attend Broadmoor Baptist Church. He enjoys outdoor activities, including hunting, skiing, golfing, and attending sporting events at his alma mater, the University of Mississippi.

T.G. is a graduate of the A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University. He subsequently obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1989. T.G. represented corporate and financial creditors in bankruptcy and foreclosure practice in his early career. He then joined Markow Walker, P.A., in 1994, and is the firm’s Managing Shareholder. T.G. devotes his practice primarily to state workers’ compensation litigation in front of the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission on trial and appellate levels, on behalf of employers and insurance carriers, as well as, self-insured employers and their third-party administrators. He participates in various seminars on the subject of workers’ compensation, including presentations at the MWCEA’s Annual Worker’s Compensation Conference, and MASI’s CSIWCP program. T.G. is presently on the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Education Association Board of Directors and is the current Vice President. He is an approved mediator of the Kid’s Chance Scholarship Mediation Program of the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission.
