Mr. John David Hawkins, Attorney

John Hawkins is Board Certified in Labor and Employment by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. John Hawkins defends employers against claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongfultermination, and wage and hour violations in federal and state court. He also representsemployers in matters pending with the EEOC, the Texas Commission on Human Rights and theLabor Department. He advises employers about employee terminations, personnel policies, drugtesting, discrimination claims and other employment matters. He has prepared numerouspersonnel policies and drug testing policies.

John has represented clients in matters in several states and before various state and federalcourts, including the Arkansas Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the UnitedStates Supreme Court.

John has worked with a large number of insurance companies who provide employment practices liability insurance for employers.
