Sean Stadelman, Attorney

Sean Stadelman serves as special counsel in the firm's Philadelphia office. He has experience litigating complex product liability, commercial, and professional liability matters in both federal and state courts involving single plaintiffs and large, consolidated mass actions. He works with clients in a variety of industries, including medical device manufacturers, vehicle manufacturers and trucking companies, and consumer product businesses. Recent representative matters include the defense of a dental adhesive (medical device) manufacturer in a federal Multi-District Litigation and Philadelphia’s Mass Tort Program involving hundreds of plaintiffs who sought damages for personal injuries that allegedly resulted from their use of excessive amounts of the product, and defending a multi-national manufacturer of airbag systems in a case where the plaintiff claimed bilateral blindness due to an allegedly defective system. Additional matters Sean has handled include representing a multi-national manufacturer of specialty vehicles (cement mixer) in a wrongful death case and a trucking company in a catastrophic injury case pending in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, which involved a head-on crash between a tractor trailer and both a small passenger car and a van occupied by 12 passengers. Sean has also represented health care providers in data privacy, regulatory, and liability matters. Sean is a member of CLM’s Product Liability Committee and Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Subcommittee.
