I represented a 45 year old man who was in deportation proceedings because he had been convicted for aggravated assault. He was a Honduran national who had come to the United States when he was 6 years old. His case was further complicated by a series of convictions for drug possession and other minor crimes. After being detained for one year, the immigration judge granted his release. This was a complex case which took skill to win. I represented an Ecuadorian gentleman at his naturalization proceedings. He had multiple arrests which caused a setback in his getting citizenship. His was eventually granted citizenship by presenting the necessary information. I represent an IT consulting firm who employs skilled foreign nationals to work in the United States. In these cases, the employer must file a petition for the new employee. USCIS often requests additional evidence before granting the petition. The requests for evidence often require skilled arguments to convince USCIS to approve the petition.
