I grew up in a family of attorneys. My grandfather, Carlos Cadena, argued several times before the United States Supreme Court and my mother, Mary Elizabeth Galvan, is a prominent attorney in Laramie, Wyoming. After graduating from the University of Wyoming College of Law, I worked for a large downtown Denver family law firm, where I gained experience handling divorces and marital estates comprising millions of dollars in assets. I learned early on that Family law requires a special touch. I use a balanced approach, treading lightly tender emotions, but pressing aggressively when necessary. From experience, I know when to compromise and when to press forward in pursuit of my clients’ interests. Ms. Whitford's practice focuses on representing clients in all aspects of the dissolution of marriage process, legal separation, post-decree modification issues, allocation of parental responsibilities, and child support matters. Ms. Whitford is experienced in handling domestic violence issues and protection orders. She is an experienced trial attorney that has represented clients in counties across Colorado including Arapahoe, Douglas, Jefferson, Adams, Larimer, Weld, Mesa, Summit, Eagle, Routt, and Park. Ms. Whitford also serves at the County Attorney in dependency and neglect matters on behalf of the Park County Department of Human Services. Before founding Altitude Law Group, Ms. Whitford was a Member at Sherman & Howard L.L.C. and a Partner at Goodspeed | Merrill where her practice emphasized family law and civil litigation. Ms. Whitford has been named a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2015 through 2020. Ms. Whitford is a Colorado Native and happily calls Colorado home with her husband Shane and son Brayden.

Fred A. Dunsing attended law school after employment in the E&C, software, and manufacturing industries. He attended school at night while working full-time during the day. Even though he attended school at night, he managed to gain a significant amount of client representation and trial experience through the Student Law Office operated by the University of Denver and sanctioned under Colorado law.{newline}{newline}After graduation, Fred practiced mainly in the areas of business organizations, criminal defense, civil litigation and family law. Fred currently maintains a litigation practice and limits that practice to family law, which he has done for nearly 20 years. Fred’s family law practice includes the areas of divorce, legal separation, annulments, child custody disputes, property settlements, post-decree modifications, paternity and visitation, grandparent rights, and (pre)marital agreements. Fred is rated “AV-Preeminent” by Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest rating an attorney can receive.{newline}{newline}Fred strives to find cost-effective solutions for clients during negotiations, in litigation, or on appeal. Ms. Myers joined Pearson & Paris, P.C. on January 8, 2018. Ms. Myers received her Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University Law School. During her law school tenure, Ms. Myers served as Editor-in-Chief of the Valparaiso University Law Review and was one of the founding members and treasurer of the Asian American Pacific Islander Law Student Association. Ms. Myers also participated in the Juvenile and Family Law clinic where she served as Guardian Ad Litem in family related matters to help resolve disputes of parenting time and decision-making responsibility. Ms. Myers also appeared in the Porter County Juvenile Court as a public defender for individuals facing contempt charges for failure to pay child support. Ms. Myers was a recipient of the Hoeppner, Wagner & Evans Scholarship for outstanding commitment to the law school and was awarded the Scribes Award for demonstrating the highest levels of legal professionalism and excellence in legal writing. In May 2017, Ms. Myers was inducted into the National Order of Scribes. Ms. Myers is sympathetic to the emotional strain many families endure in the field of domestic relations. She uses her passion and empathy to advocate for her clients, while recognizing the unique dynamics of each family and her specific role she plays within those dynamics. She prides herself on her ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, superior work ethic, and her analytical reasoning skills.
