Arizona Automobile Insurance Law

It is very important to know the contents of your Arizona automobile insurance policy.  It is very common for driver to be uninsured in Arizona, and you may not be able to recover for your injuries if you are struck by negligent driver, or even worse, you may be liable for the medical bills incurred as a result of your accident injuries!  The minimum coverage required by law in Arizona is $15,000 per person for any bodily injury, $30,000 per accident for any bodily injury of two or more people, and $10,000 per accident for any property damage to your vehicle.  For coverage higher than
15/30, typical increments are 25/50, 50/100, 100/300 and 250/500.

If the driver who ran into your car does not have insurance, you will need to use the uninsured portion of your policy.  If the other driver's policy is not sufficient to pay for your medical bills and personal damages, then you will need to use the underinsured portion of your policy.  This happens very often in Arizona and it is always wise to be fully informed about your options to purchase additional coverage.
