Summary: Recent numbers, provided by the Federal Reserve, show that the number of debt consumers accruing is not in line with economic growth.
"Lawsuits filed against consumers, often regarding credit cards, continue to clog the courts. Many of them result in collections lawsuits, as defendants aren’t sure how to handle such legal action when there is no income to pay off the debts in question."
