Court can impose an additional three year term for transportation of meth whether drugs were for personal use of not

Summary: defendant received an additional 3 years for being a repeat drug offender despite the fact the he was transporting meth for personal use as opposed to sale

Pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 11370.2, a court is permitted to impose the three-year enhancement because that enhancement applies regardless of whether transportation of a controlled substance is for personal use.
