First $10k Covered in Kentucky Car Wrecks

If you're in a car accident in Kentucky then your first $10,000 in medical expenses, lost wages, and other necessary "out-of-pocket" expenses will be covered by your insurance company, regardless of who is at fault. If you are not at fault then filing such a claim should not increase your insurance premiums. If you do file a claim and pursue the at-fault driver's insurance company for compensation then you should know that an attorney worth his/her salt will be able to increase the value of your claim by 350%, according to a study conducted by the Insurance Research Council, simply by being fluent in car insurance language and practices.

If you're hurt in a car wreck then go to the ER if you suspect any injuries at all.  More times than not, injuries are not felt until several hours after your wreck, or sometimes days or weeks after.  You need to make sure you are not hurt for the rest of your life.  Make sure you explain to your doctor what you are experiencing and make sure it all goes into your medical record.

For more serious wrecks, perhaps involving motorcycles or large trucks, you may not realize that there are certain policies you are able to "stack" so that you may be paid out of each policy. For example, you may not know that in certain situations you are able to cash in on a policy that is not even yours but is a policy for someone in your household; even if they weren't involved in the wreck.

I never really cared for "car wreck" lawyers before I realized that there are so many ways car insurance companies will take advantage of you (their own insured) without you even knowing. How can you know what you don't know? You can get "in the know" by scheduling a case evaluation at no cost to you. We get fair values on claims; no tricks, no gimmicks--just the bargained for value you pay for with your insurance premium.

We answer questions and schedule evaluations via phone or Facebook. Text/Call: 859-358-0300.
