rumors and reports to the media that Tony Blair was having an affair with

The settlement amount is
unknown and event he judge who oversaw the case signed a confidentiality
agreement, but given the alleged circumstances and complexities that prompted
Murdoch to file for a divorce it is surprising that their attorneys reached an
agreement so quickly without contest. On November 20th Murdoch and Deng's
divorce attorneys shook hands sealing the terms of the financial settlement and
divorce decree without contest.

Murdoch and Deng signed one prenuptial agreement and two post nuptial
agreements to outline asset divisions just in case the marriage ever ended in
divorce. The post nuptial agreements modified voting control for Murdoch's
heirs, as well as his staggering number of media corporations. Murdoch's
fortune is estimated to be at least $13 billion dollars.

Rupert Murdoch and Tony
Blair have had a close relationship for over a decade, paving the way for
landmark political alliances in the UK. Their relationship was so close that
Murdoch even asked Blair to become godfather of his daughter, which he accepted
and became in 2010. Even through the phone hacking scandal Blair backed Murdoch
publicly, but the rumors and reports of Blair's alleged affair with his wife of
14 years was too much for him to handle.

Upon learning of the
reports of adultery between Blair and Deng, Murdoch filed for divorce. He also
stopped all communication with his long-time friend and Ally Tony Blair.
Although Blair denies the allegations and claims that his relationship
with Deng was platonic, Murdoch closed off all communication with Blair.

Although not contested
the divorce settlement was likely a large amount give the scale of 82-year-old
Murdoch's fortune. Even if Deng only received 1% of his fortune, it would $13
million dollars. But until this information is released, we can only
guess what the exact divorce settlement amount really is.
