Sexual harassment can and must be prevented.  When sexual harassment is not prevented, good people are harmed.  No one (co-worker supervisor or employer) has the right to ever expose an employee to sexual harassment.  Sexual harassment is emotionally harmful, not only because of the direct harm caused but also because it threatens the employee’s ability to earn a living.

However, corporations can effectively prevent sexual harassment if the right efforts are made.

At a minimum, all corporations must have a clear sexual harassment policy, effective training, workplace monitoring, encouraging employees to come forward with any and all concerns, taking all concerns seriously and promptly investigating all concerns in a fair and serious manner.
