He is licensed to practice law in the Illinois Trial, Appellate and Supreme Court, as well the United States Federal District Court and United States District Court of Appeals. He concentrates his legal practice on high net worth divorce, complex divorce, commercial and real estate transactions, business law and commercial litigation.

Bochte was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to the Illinois Board of Admissions to the Bar, as both a member and chairman of the Character and Fitness Committee for the Second Judicial District. He has been recognized by the United States of American Presidential Commendation in recognition of his exceptional service to others in the finest American tradition.
